Goodwill Niagara - Administration

This place was selling kids coats in Port colborne Ontario for 50 dollars coats in welland for 100 dollars used muddy boats for twenty five welland when i contacted them about this they said that was a good deal and very sought after I'm sorry but no donated item should be sold for that much because they don't charge tax is no reason to list products off of the internet then charge those prices I thought they were to help the less fortunate but when I was contacted back buy them about this I was told it was normal for them to conduct business like that and that less fortunate people would buy these products sorry but less fortunate people don't shop at good will for 100 dollar coats might as well sell your donations out of your driveway at that price just look up what they are worth and make a buck

We have in the past got some good deals at Goodwill but the last few weeks in Niagara Falls they have locked down the change rooms. I had a buggy full of cloths to purchase but could not try on so I walked out. I was told I could take home and try on and bring back if not fitting and get a credit but had to spend the credit the same day as returned. Mandates are done so why. Washrooms still locked up. I spend $100.00 /s and maybe $1000/s of dollars a year there and donate huge amounts also. Not going back ever again.

I've been calling them non stop and they never even answer their phones.

The change rooms inexplicably remain closed. The store staff are sympathetic but take direction from admin. What is the rationale here? Have they forgotten to authorize the change rooms reopening?So people such as myself who have to try on clothes before buying are not being served by their 7 day return policy. I can get an exchange or store credit. This won’t work for me because I would have to buy and return several items a practice I like to avoid.Also, I agree with others that report that the prices are too high. See photo of dishes for $150.I suppose there are periodic 50% off sales but sadly, deals are no longer to be found at the Goodwill Morrison store. I will not be inclined to return anytime soon.

I have always loved going into any goodwill store to shop around. It seems that in the past year or so however they have increased the prices on everything. I get it is still cheaper to buy things here but let's not forget everything is donated. I get they still have an overhead but it seems like they are trying to get the most they can for items and the prices of these used items are becoming increasingly higher and higher.

Goodwill has gotten worst over the years and its just sad! I loved Goodwill once upon a time, Goodwill was my favorite then Goodwill changed for the worst! First you took away our coupons from when we donated we got a coupon (PEOPLE DONATE BEAUTIFUL THEY LOVE TO GRAB THAT COUPON AND BUY A NEW ITEM WITH A DISCOUNT COUPON, i stopped donating once you took the coupon away.. then you took away the 50% sale at the end of the mobth on the last Thursday of the month. Then you came out with 50% off every week a certain color for 1 week we got 50% off now thats gone YOU TAKE OUR FREE ITEMS WE DONATE AND YOU GIVE US NOTHING IN RETURNS EXCEPT HIGH PRICEE CRAZY PRICES I ONCE SAW A LEGO SET FOR 100 CRAZY NO BOX NOTHING MISSING STUFF. JUST SAD HOW GOODWILL GOT WORST OVER THE YEARS NOW I ONLY THRIFT WERE MY FRIENDS WORK.
