A place where a sense of commonality is shared with like-minded people, whether it's to drop off used IV gear and/or pick up new gear, or joining a meeting like REDUN (Rural Empowered Drug Users Network), and discuss the various aspects of drug addiction and medical options regarding opioids, whether self medicating for relieving pain or if suboxone would suit for a recreational user.ANKORS is also about more than substances though, if one has questions about one's sexual identities this is the right place, there is always someone available for discussions, and counselling. Relating with others in similar situations and providing a safe environment for individuals in vulnerable mental states.

Ankors is located in an accessible part of the downtown core of Cranbrook.The facilitation of harm reduction products and interpersonal relations is a testament and display of community based compassion and a declaration of equality.

The people there are awesome they should be some sort of counseling group ...but every Friday the methadone Doctor ,Dr.Kailia is always there till 3 PM but all round they are individually all awesome ....
