Great sewing accessories and supplies store. Had everything that we needed in one place. Customer service is also great and they were able to answer any and all questions that we had and gave us suggestions and recommendations on what we need.

The nicest staff! Great selection for a small store, super reasonable prices on items, and they fix zippers and change buttons FAST! Lots of garment dyes, buttons, threads, etc. We must keep them in business no matter what!

This place is so wonderful. I wanted to keep it a secret out of selfish reasons. It's full of beautiful treasures to create with. You will find a nice little selection of beautiful, unique fabrics and notions of different kinds and styles. This is a wonderful Mom & Pops business that needs to be discovered if you haven't already. They are friendly, helpful, sell and fix sewing machines.

I brought my brand new Brother Cover Stitch machine ( still under warrantee) to be repaired because Brother.ca ignored my messages on their web site. Brother Canada doesn't even have a telephone number! Thankfully, J'L is close and repaired my machine with a week! I am very grateful for their excellent customer service!

Went there to get my machine fixed. They said that the little plastic thing was missing but they could fix it either way in a week. One month and 2 calls later, not only was my sewing machine not fixed at all but the needle and needle holder is missing.

It's our first stop when we need sewing accessories (scissors, clippers, thread, bias tape, pins, etc), and knitting supplies. Prices are reasonable and staff is knowledgeable. The only caveat? We call before we go to confirm they're open. We've arrived before during opening hours to find the store closed.

Great shop unless you have a problem with what you buy. I love supporting local so I chose to shop here but when a tool they sold me broke in the first week and I brought it in for exchange, the owner told me it was my fault and acted as if I were trying to rob him blind. Mind you, I did not come looking for a refund, but store-credit so the store would retain my business. After a bunch of haggling, I finally got my refund but begrudgingly and being made to feel guilty all the while. I still go here and they have a great selection of products at reasonable prices. I just consider whatever I buy here final sale as I know returns don't seem to be accepted let alone welcomed.
