McCutcheon Contracting

McCutcheon Contracting has done a few jobs for us. We have been very happy and completely satisfied with everything they have done. We would highly recommend them for any project.

My wife and I were wanting to redo our ensuite bathroom so we started asking friends if they knew a contractor who was experienced in such work. A friend of my wife said she recently had her bathroom done so we went to see it, and were very impressed. So we called Will and he stopped by to give us an estimate a couple days later. Best call we ever made. We talked to some other guys but didn't have a good feeling about them. Will seemed very honest an knowledgeable, and he turned out to be exactly that. We are very happy with the work he did for us, especially the tile work. And we really liked how when he said he was going to show up or do something, he did! I highly recommend Will and his company, McCutcheon Contracting.

We were totally inexperienced in renovation projects, yet we bought a house built in the 1700's that needed a total restoration! We met and hired Will from McCutcheon Contracting...which turned out to be the smartest decision we made.There was an incredible amount of work to do and Will's many skills, patience, communication and high standards made this project go well beyond our expectations. Every time he'd tear out an old wall or floor, there'd be “another surprise hidden behind it that needed attention. Will would discuss options and costs

Will helped us transform our home. We purchased a small dated home, and will helped us essentially completely gut and re-build it. He and his team were extremely professional, very considerate during the work, and produced the utmost quality throughout the reno. Highly recommend him and his team!

First let me start off by saying that I never write reviews but after hiring Will/McCutcheon Contracting, there is absolutely no way we could not…My mother recently moved in with us and in an effort to give more light in to her in-law suite we met with several different companies and received several quotes to have a full brick knock out take place and a window installed (where one was not yet existing)And while most companies price ranges were somewhat similar, we can say that the deciding factor beyond a doubt was Will himself!Will was highly engaging, professional, meticulous and not only completed the job on time, it was actually under budget! We were kept completely in the loop through the entire process and could not have possibly felt more trusting in him nor have possibly been happier with the work he performed. For us it was all about having trust and he 1000% did not disappoint!So much so that all 3 of our children were actually disappointed once the job was completed as even they enjoyed coming home at the end of the day to converse with him. lolWe will continue to ALWAYS use Will and his company for anything we do in the future and beyond a shadow of a doubt, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone! We had Will come to our house to go over reno concepts. I was communicating with him regularly in the weeks prior to the site visit, exchanging ideas. On site he was engaging and listened to our ideas. The same day he very quickly sent us an email thanking us for having in our home and that he would send quotes to us very quickly. A week went by, then two. There were unanswered phone calls, texts, emails. I was actually worried something had happened to him. Ghosted us. I can see he is reading my text messages. He did not have the decency to at least indicate he was no longer interested in our project. Unprofessional; lack of personal integrity; would not recommend. Boy did he have all of us fooled. I am glad he showed his true character by his actions by ghosting. I would have regretted entering into a work contract with him, perhaps paid a deposit and then never heard from him again.
