Online it's listed their hours end at 5pm. The housing unit closed at 2pm. Working people threatened with eviction and various emergency services have to call in morning at 9am.First come, first served. You CANNOT leave messages or information for follow up. And good luck calling during your lunch, they've probably clocked out!These people are no help. Literally the operator told me to call the Volunteer Lawyer Project. Will do!

I give them 1 star cuz i can't go lower,if not it would be - 5,This place got me to make an hearing in person and now its oct 13 2022 and my hearing is in nov 2022 and now they tell me there not going to represent me.how can they do this to a person and not have an issue with leaving people hanging like this.you do not treat sick people or anyone this way.the one that did this to me is a paralegal named laury tanner,but i remember I think about 5 years ago i had a little disagreementut with the supervisior and he's holding that against me.anyway none of them are reliable,have no honor or respect for No One.wasted a year with them.

The absolute worst . There might be one that really cares about their job. Everyone else is there for a paycheck. Especially the supervisor. Asks questions like....what do you want me to do?.....your job. Stop making everyone else suffer and just find a job in a firm. Something you like. Or start an only fans to show your facial expressions when your asked for help.

I haven't been there physically, however I am currently engaged with one of their attorneys because I'm being unlawfully evicted - and he has been absolutely fantastic!! I can't say enough good about them, certainly an imperative service, especially down here. THANK YOU N.L.S.

She has assisted me twice with a few personal matters and I'm eternally grateful at the pleasure of having met her. NLS definitely has a black belt angel on their team with Ms. Schuster.

I certainly had a very disappointing experience with this organization. Unfortunately, they do not show a strong desire to help and seem to do only the bare minimum, nor can they even be forthright if they are unable to help, but string the client along, creating even more helplessness and anxiety for the client who is dealing with a life-altering, time-sensitive matter. This is what occurred to me after I was able to make contact with a paralegal by the name of Daniel Galvin, after he told me that he would relay the info I gave him during my intake to an attorney and get back to me. Well, I had to wait a full 15 days to hear back from him again, only because I had reached out to the Executive Director, Lauren Breen, with the complaint of his completely ignoring my outreach attempts and not making any contact with me during these 15 days. After making my complaint, I finally receive only an e-mail stating that the reason it took so long to get back to me was because the attorney was out of the office." But

In regard to those answering the phone, I found I had to call a few times and even though I explained why I called, my situation and what not, I shouldn't have had to call as many times I did just to get a simple answer that I finally got after 2 or 3 times calling.

Ineffective counsel is a major understatement,sad that a city this large doesn’t have any adequate legal assistance for low income and seniors . It is a crime when your only options are places that feel that they can repeatedly do nothing to help you and then after months they give you an inaccurate report ,saying that they are unable to resolve your legal issues and tell you to try your congressman! Just sad

This place has never really given help. You could call at one point and the would help you over the phone. But I was just told “fill out an app well get back to you in two weeks” they did not help me at all in my situation not even a little advice. The lady I talked to cut me of and said what I said above. If they decide to help me I’ll let you guys know what happened in two weeks. Also I was on hold for twenty minutes before someone got to me and that’s because I hung up and called a few more times.So that wasn’t the application I was decieved. They sent me an app but not one I can edit. Now I have to go to the library to print it out. Their whole process is inconvenient for their convenience.They should’ve said it from jump but I’m on the run around now.
