So many succulents! I picked up 16 new types (I already own about 75). They had even more but I had to refrain. According to the owner, they've been in business for over 22 years and have over 500 types. He likes to personally collect them and has beautiful big bushes that he propogates from.An area of improvement would be of the plants were on a table so shoppers wouldn't need to crouch down; my back was getting sore while shopping.I also wish the plants had been labelled. I recognize a few distinct ones but there are lots of succulents that are harder to ID until they bloom. The owner and staff can help id them for you.They also have a selection of pre-potted plants and gorgeous arrangements. Some plants/areas are not for sale. You can inquire first to know which sections you can shop from if a shop assistant doesn't inform you first.I have been back here two more times since my initial review. Great, friendly service each time. There are a few friendly cats hanging around. I was looking for a Sedum Atlantis" which I'd seen two large pots of previously but they hadn't propogated them yet. Came back this third time and got a small pot.Prices are still reasonable

This place is a hidden gem! It really is a candy store for succulent lovers, lots of variety and owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, around $5-$10. Literally can spend hours in the greenhouse! They also have a store front in markham which is where I usually buy my plants from.

Got some succulents from G & L NURSERIES last weekend! They’re pretty cool! It’s a fantastic succulent’s greenhouse I have ever found in Canada! Many kinds of succulents, reasonable price, hospitality owner! It’s a great place for succulent lovers！

Went to a wonderful local greenhouse in search of new houseplants, and turns out I walked into one of the largest succulent greenhouses in Canada! Family owned and wildly impressive! The friendly family has been propagating their own succulents for 22 years. Hundreds and hundreds of tiny to absolutely monstrous desert plants. Great prices too.I've found my new favourite place to buy succulents, and if you're in the area, you should really check it out!

G&L Nursery has over 500 succulent species. I enjoy my visits there. The price is very reasonable. The owner is very nice and passionate. I definitely recommend all succulent lovers visit there.

I enjoyed coming to G&L nursery today. Rex is absolutely friendly & knowledgable. I came because I found from his son through email that they carry String of Pearls & String of Turtles, I left with a box of plants! LolWhat an amazing place! They have so many selection & variety. Rex is so knowledgable, he gave great advices on plant care and showed me so many varieties of plants under his care!I came with little hope in finding Bear’s Paw succulent since I have not found anyone in Canada who carry this but when I mentioned it to Rex, he right away said Yes! I could not be happier!!!Just beautiful, prices are so affordable & I’m so thankful I found Rex and his nursery. I will be back in no time!If you have a succulent/cactus in mind that you think you can’t find in Canada, ask Rex, I’m sure he probably has them! Affordable prices as well.I won’t even bother going to other places for succulents & cacti anymore. G & L nursery will be my go-to from now on.

Beautiful loved plants!!! Very happy with the service even helped me get my kids back to the car while rushing the jade into the car to keep it warm! Very reasonable prices and a large assortment of succulents and cactuses, will definitely be going back!

I was there last week and this place is a succulent plant lovers' paradise.I have so many green coloured succulents, as those are only what's available at the stores downtown, I was finally able to get a bunch that included yellow, orange, light purple.I bought a combination pot with 14 succulent plants in it for only $25.

Amazing place!! My wife had a wonderful time to shopping here. Tons option of beautiful succulents with reasonable price. Owner couples are nice and helpful. Excellent experience to be here. 6 stars - Must visit.

This place is amazing! If you want a unique succulent garden at a decent price you have to go!
