Update:I've since been able to use my deposit to fix my hot tub. Shelin worked with me to get the right parts even though it was a brand they don't sell. Shout out to Katie in the Belleville store, she was great to work with super pleasant and helpful every time we talked.We looked into getting a pool with Shelin and even got as far as a deposit when situational changes made us stop moving forward. I was told at that time that I could use my deposit for anything at any time in the future. I've twice now tried to use my deposit for other service only to be told that we don't do that ". Beware

My dealing with this place was the worst experience i've ever had. I have owned a hot tub for over 20 years and always have had great service people. Our motor was going on the tub and we contacted shelin pools as supporting a local company and did manage to get a motor but when the service people went to install it, they unhooked our motor and refused to hook the new one up. this was left to us as the owners at our own expense even though they claimed to be technicians. after attempting to hook it up ourselves we accidently blew the fuses. When questioning Shelin pools what to do, they said we now need a new heater, which we did not. I asked to please check the fuses before costing us a new heater. They came on the property when we were not home and replaced the heater without permission and still did not hook it up. We had to call a different hot tub place as by this time the pipes were frozen and we were afraid the hot tub itself would crack. this cost us another $250.00 then we got a bill for the heater that we didn't need. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service from this awesome group! Amy - and her team are outstanding. The guys opened our pool Mark and Ray and were so friendly and professional it was great. Going into the store you are always welcomed and the knowledge the staff have make a first time pool owner feel so much more comfortable with asking questions and getting fantastic service! Thank YOU Shelin Team... I will recommend you to everyone :)

We needed a new liner for our old above ground pool, and are very happy with Shelin's service. The team was punctual, pleasant, experienced, and worked well together. They also dealt with a patch and rust issue on the pool wall which will extend the life of our pool. Thanks again lads for a job well done.

Decided to use Shelin pools to open our pool as they were opening in Belleville. So, we decided to change our water system to salt water and purchased the unit from them. They advised they would install the unit when they came to open it. The guys drained the water on to[ of the tarp and cleaned out the debris by leaving it all over my deck and lawn. I told them to let me know when they needed the hose to put in the water so they could get the pool pump running. A while later, we heard them out front so I went to the door. The one guy advised me they were done. I then asked them if I was going to get instructions on how to run the salt water system. He said, there’s only one switch to flip on and off. We went to the filter area and the salt water control box was just sitting on top of my heater. He advised me that I could screw it to any wall or post. When you pay almost $3,000.00 (plus extra for installation)for a salt water system I figured it would be INSTALLED, not left for the customer to hook up or set up. I had to pull teeth to find out when and how to add the salt. Then as we are heading back to the house, I see a box with bottles of chemicals sitting in one of our chairs. I ask him about that and he tells me, when the pool is filled, throw in the three bottles of chemicals, three bags of salt and wait a week and then bring in a water sample to get analyzed. I read the instructions on the box and it said WHILE the pool was filling, add in STAIN PREVENT to prevent staining, scaling or water discolouration. Wow, without a doubt, the worst service we’ve ever had. If I could have given them zero stars, I would have. They could have saved themselves a lot of money and not opened up the Belleville store. Good lesson learned. Never throw good money away for bad service.

Been a Shelin Pools customer for a number of years. They have provided services for our cottage hot tub as well as special ordering a replacement hot tub lid. We have used their services for opening and closing as well as water deliveries.Always fast, efficient and competitively priced

Joshua and his crew did an amazing job installing our new pool. We could not be happier! They were fast and efficient and treated our pool and property like it was their own. I will be recommending Shelin pools for sure!

All I can say is, they are NOT good people to work with, they speak to you in a very condescending and rude manner, and this is from the owner, manager and staff.We bought a pool cleaner from them and paid $ 1,000.00 more for it than other retailers in the area. Spoke to the manager and politely asked him to do something about the price difference. His response was that he was going to get the competitors licence revoked for selling less than him. ( what a joke ) On top of that he charged 15% restocking fee for returning the machine.I went to his competitor ( Aqua Bay ) in Kingston and paid $ 1,000.00 less for a much better and newer model.Please BEWARE, their prices are 99% higher than any other pool business in the immediate area ( Kingston/Belleville )WE will never ever deal with SHELIN POOLS.They will never ever
