This review is limited ONLY to drinks, dancing, games, vibe. No food was consumed.Greta draws a crowd of young adults, mostly uni students (at least late on a Saturday night). It’s busy, and for good reason.It’s clean enough. Drinks are standard, as is the pricing. Staff are cool, laid back but active in serving and tidying up messes. They’re not after you to keep ordering.The vibe is fun fun fun. Arcade games everywhere. It’s easy to roam around and mingle. I played Tetris, which was a throw back.The DJ started playing at around 11pm, I think. Lots of variety, mostly hip hop and top 40s. I had fun on this random dance night out.

Greta is a very fun and high energy vibe. We went here early in the evening and there was lots of room for a larger group. The food was excellent, and very well priced. We got both types of bao buns and they were so soft and pillowy but bursting with flavor. The cocktails were very nice as well, would recommend the marmalade whiskey sour.Going earlier in the day is worth it to avoid the crowds. In the evening it can get very busy, and if you are trying to play games there can be long lines.Would recommend this place for a date night as there are so many games to play.

The place is quite retro, a good selection of games and a bar. The music and vibes were great in here as well. I would say some of the games were a bit of a rip off, with not enough gaming time but otherwise this is a great place for a catch-up with friends.

Visiting Calgary for the night from Edmonton and came for a couple drinks after a long day of work. Cole, bartender, was AMAZING!!! Introduced himself by name as soon as I sat down and was one of the most personable, attentive, friendly bartenders I’ve ever met. If I lived closer I’d definitely be back more often! Thanks Cole for taking care of my tequila needs!

Terrible experience. We purchased tickets for an event at this venue, were minding our own business and abiding by all of the venue’s rules, but they grabbed us without consent and forced us out about an hour into the event.When we asked to speak to a manager regarding why this happened, they could not give us a clear answer nor were they willing to speak to us. We were referred to security instead who did not comment either. We have a feeling that it was because we were mistaken for another party that were also people of colour. I always enjoyed coming to Greta to have a good time, but this felt like a targeted act and as a minority I would not come back here again. I feel like I was profiled based on my race that night. After reviewing some of the other 1 star reviews it seems like I’m not the only one that’s experienced this.We communicated with management through email however it’s been months since they told us they would “follow up and investigate” and lo and behold there has been no follow up nor investigation.Overall disappointing experience. Go somewhere else if you don’t want to be removed from the venue for no reason. Absolutely horrid.

Samantha had a very negative attitude towards me and she was extremely uptight in general maybe dealing with issues outside of her job. I go to restaurants/pubs regularly, and waitresses should not be having this attitude. Very poor.The vibe in general in the restaurant was great though.

Multi level experience full of old school games giving the experience of going to the arcade in the 80's.Tasty pub/carnival food. Wagu beef burgers to refill before returning to the fight.Awesome for all the adults looking for a flash back of memories or to create new ones. Dates would be great here. Photobooth to capture the moment.It can get loud so bring sound cancelling if necessary. Some flashing lights so be warned if epilepsy is your thing.No wheel chair accessible areas except for the dining room yet there are double sided railings in stairs. Multiple bathrooms if you pee with excitement.I'm definetly going back soon.
