I hired a Jr. Lawyer from here which was a mistake on my part. The new lawyer has only past the bar 9 months ago and did not have enough experience yet to guide me properly through my separation agreement. I felt like I was very over charged and was constantly asked to top up my retainer. The lawyer told me the separation agreement could cost me up to $20,000 when other Lawyers will only charge $900-$3,000 for a simple non complicated separation agreement completely done including negotiations. I fired my Lawyer and took over representing myself and has been an easy process so far.
