Steve and his large crew did an amazing job. They were very efficient, fast and willing to work until late in the evening. Steve had the best quote among 5 roofers and took the time to explain what and how he was going to tackle the job. Crew was very tidy during install and cleaned up everything after job was completed. I am very happy with Steve's work and would highly recommend him.

Hired because he was a local headingley resident. BIG MISTAKE!! After he was paid for the job roof was leaking. Second crew came and re- did portion of roof that wasn’t done properly. I Paid another roofer to finish up capping as all calls went unanswered. Do your research before hiring this roofer.

They come to our house and install the roof left her nails and shingles and picked up the garbage in the yard and we’ve asked them to come and they have not showed up.They also did not put a drip edge over the

We live in West St Paul, super windy. So many people in area have issues with shingles flying off which is why we had to have these guys redo our roof. Been years and haven't lost a single shingle! Super happy!

Good price, decent timing. however, if you need any call back work. dont expect any response beyond a game where he moves the goal post. your money is best spent elsewhere.

I had Gould and Sons come and give me an estimate on shingling my roof in August of 2019. Promised to do the roof that fall and was given $4000 deposit. Steve kept putting off the job right through fall and winter telling me that I’ll be the first in the spring of 2020 to get the work done. Still nothing. Now won’t answer calls or texts anymore and has not repaid $4000. DONT TRUST THIS GUY!UPDATE: Steve did repay the $4000 deposit several weeks after being texted about legal action

Called to ask for a quote,telling him the work should start in mid Sept.I didn't expect him to drop everything and come out.To my surprise he said he would come out the next day or the day after.He bragged about giving great customer service.Would discount a bungalow,loved doing business with local residents.He went on and on about their great service.Going on two weeks and still no response.He can Talk the Talk but I can Walk the Walk.

Pros:Good priceNot perfect but reasonable shingling (as much as I know about shingling by looking at it)Cons:Didn’t finish job, missing cap shingles on flashing (had to call to get job finished)Gutters not cleaned (had to climb roof myself to find this out)A worker broke a sunroom screen, didn’t tell me or Steve; I offered to repair the window myself if Steve was willing to pay for supplies. Emailed the bill to Steve almost 3 weeks ago... no repayment.Numerous plastic strips left hanging from shingles.Cigarette butts on the front lawn

It was a pleasure to deal with Gould and Sons. I had a quote in hand less than 24 hours from first making contact. Quote was extremely fair and the final bill was exact. Steve was extremely helpful to the point of responding to my “what color shingles are these?” text messages, even after 8:00PM. Work crew kept it very clean and professional, other than a beautiful new roof they left absolutely no trace of even being there.I felt as though they cared for my property as much as they would their own. I would definitely recommend, I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience.
