Definitely will be returning when in the area!Great area, room and bathroom super cleaned. There s soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower which smell so good. Even provided a towel.Kitchen with everything and spacious.Even though with stay only 1 night, we really liked this place!

Dirty rooms with used tissues under the bed and a very strong smell of cheese permeating the sheets.There was no hot water at one point but it came back onFairly small shower with no storage inside so you have to leave your stuff outsideThe communal kitchen reeked of vomit and was horrible to pass through.The only good thing is the location near Banff.

Convenient location though parking was limited. Self check-in but never got the correct code to enter the hostel!! Luckily a guest was on their way out and we got the code off another guest.Reasonably clean, but never experienced hot water in the share bathrooms. Each room has code lock which was convenient, but it sang a song everytime it was opened and random times in between. Was starting to drive me crazy in a share room.

First off, it is a self check in hostel, which I really liked. Makes for a quick and easy check-in process. The rooms and washrooms were quite clean, and the kitchen was typical for a hostel. Only unclean parts were due to other guests that obviously need someone to clean up after them. Linen was nice and clean, and a towel was supplied. The beds had full privacy screens. The only downside to this hostel is prep space in the kitchen. Whereas the kitchen is well stocked in terms of supplies, there is not a lot of space for prep. If there was more than one person prepping a meal or would be very tight in there.

The self check in is convenient, although it seems like there still may be a few issues with the timing of the room code emails & texts, as a received them at wildly different times.Warning: Although it's pretty clear, this is a PARTY hostel and the club music from downstairs was clearly audible through the floor. I found it tolerable, but the last song of the evening had a woke me up both nights, since it was the loudest of the night.We stayed in the deluxe queen room and it was clean and comfortable, the chargers, in-room microwave & fridge were a super convenient bonus. The bathroom really needs a towel bar or hooks for bath towels since hanging on the shower bar results in water all over the floor and the shelf by the sink is really not substantial enough for 2 (or even one towel) and the room could generally use a couple more hooks for jackets and other gear.Kitchen was well set up for a hostel, but definitely needs more prep space. Some counters along the wall opposite the existing kitchen and an extra table would go a long way. It's nice to have a lot of appliances and utensils, but consolidating things might help free up some space. It generally was kept clean by other guests and the staff. It didn't seem super busy while we were there, but we still wound up waiting for other groups to get out of the kitchen multiple times so we could cook.Adding more info about the parking situation to the welcome package would alleviate some stress around parking in the downtown, but ultimately paid parking is just a part of staying in the core.

I highly not recommend this hostel. It is very dirty. At first you enter on the libby you will see a water dropping from the ceiling. You can't even sleep because of the bar downstairs. And the customer service they're rude on me. This experience is the worst experience I've ever had out of town. I ended up booking other hotel the same day.

The water in both showers wasn't hot at all, not even warm. But the hotter it was in the room - hard to sleep, even with open windows.The bathrooms were at leat clean and they provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. For girls, a hairdryer as well. The kitchen is messy.

Self check in, no AC & received maybe over a dozen emails that were often repetitive or irrelevant! Great location & chill vibes but probably wouldn’t stay again. This was the only place available last minute & was so expensive for what we got.

Pretty good deal especially for a prime location. Self check in was convenient and Trevor is extremely responsive to requests. Room was perfect size for solo/duo trips, clean linens and towels were provided. Lots of prior low ratings come from the noise, but if going off season or during the weekday like we did, not an issue at all. Everything was available in the shared kitchen and the washrooms were well maintained. Heads up that parking around the area other than the designated parking spot are paid parking outside of 8pm-8am.

Edit- it’s almost 0200 in the morning and your guests have been inconsiderate of other peopleGabbing and carrying on- impossible to get sleep- thought you had quiet hours at midnight- ridiculousGreat location and great deluxe bedroom/ I’m glad the patio was not active on my night it would have been hard to sleep- room 3 is the queen bedroom and it’s right by kitchen so it’s also hard to sleep with people non stop chit chatting but otherwise it’s great! Love these older buildings
