Tot Spot Academy

I was told by a few people that they thought Tot Spot Academy was great so I looked into it for my son; however, sadly I am very disappointed and I have yet to even experience their care because every time I have called I get an answering machine, an answering machine that a person rarely calls me back and if they do call back they tell you that they are booked up with children and have a waiting list, (which is fine, which is why I called when my son was only 6 months old, not wanting him to attend daycare until a year later) then I was told I was going to be put on a waiting list because some mothers would be going on a maternity leave soon so a spot would possibly open up for my son but yet nobody ever called me back to confirm or inform me that my child had been accepted into the academy, even when I call and leave voicemails wondering if he is yet to be accepted 1 year later, and still I wait for somebody to return my call. It's a good thing I didn't rely on this place for child care. I would be screwed. Just from that experience it leaves me with a horrible taste in my mouth about this facility. There is absolutely NO communication and if there is something I need from a facility that provides my child with care, it is definitely communication.

This place is amazing, we have only been there for a few months and it’s incredible what our son has learned there in such a short time. All the staff are caring and well trained. The extra activities are an added bonus that our son throughly enjoys.

Tot Spot Academy is the best place for kids! They run a full preschool program and work hard to make sure the days are fun and educational! They keep parents updated throughout the day with pictures and notes about their child's day. The daycare and the staff are friendly and inviting!

Our experience with Totspot has been with the baby room, and we are so grateful to be with a daycare we trust. Megan and Emilia are kind, patient, and caring toward the children. Our child gives us an enthusiastic yeah!" when we ask if he wants to go see them. He enjoys the art crafts

I just started my son here a couple weeks ago and I am already in love (so is my little guy). He gets so excited to see the ladies (especially his teacher Jen) everyday! It makes my heart so happy. They send him home with crafts, and send me daily photos and updates on how he's doing. The transition was so easy thanks to this amazing team. I could not be happier!

We have been extremely satisfied with the care our children have received over the last 5 years. Our youngest is now also transitioning to the out of school care program and I’m so grateful we are able to continue in their care!I would not hesitate to recommend TotSpot to anyone looking for childcare.(In fact, I’ve referred a few families I’ve met over the years. I also love the friendships that have developed between the kids and parents and staff!)

I highly recommend Tot Spot. It has provided our family with nurturing, caring, innovative and quality childcare for 4 years!

I have to step up for Tot Spot, I understand everyone has different experiences, we have had our kid for 3 absolutely amazing years, there is no day that he is not happy to go to day care, his development is great, the activities, the constant communication from staff and the owner is always present looking after everything, for us Tot Spot more than a Day Care is like a big family, I don't see my son more safe or happy any where else, I will always recommend Tot Spot 100%.

The Tot Spot team genuinely loves kids and they are always working hard to maintain good relationships with their families and support the kids in whatever stage they're in. Their programming is well-rounded and educational and staff are invested in the kids and ensuring they flourish. This is a fabulous centre with fabulous staff.
