Absolutely fantastic school and staff. Both our children have attended for years and we couldn’t be happier with the environment and education experience the school provides. The teachers are very passionate and caring. I’m shocked to see anyone could have anything poor to say about the school.

Our boys education journey both started in the Guelph Montessori toddler (daycare) program. As the years passed, they progressed through the CASA and elementary levels continuing to excel every year. Despite all the adversities over the past several years, it was the love and dedication of the teaching staff (at all levels) that helped to build a strong foundation of learning within our boys.Thank you for all that you have provided to our family over the years!!!

We can't say enough how much we adore GMS. For the last three years we have watched our daughter grow and thrive in so many ways that have exceeded our expectations.The faculty shows so much love and compassion towards the children that it creates a beautiful family environment.Our daughter is always so excited to start a new year at GMS and we hope to continue her education here for the years to come.

My wife and I recently removed our son from this school and fortunately we were able to get him into a private school that shares our values and doesn’t resort to threatening and intimating 3 year olds. Our son is three years old and he’s terrified of the principle/owner of the school “Amir” because his teachers routinely threaten the children with being taken to this man’s office if they are being silly or not napping. In my opinion this is not appropriate behaviour and I didn’t want my son anywhere near this man. As a result of this school’s disciplinary methods my son was having nightmares and would constantly tell us that he was afraid. Enough was enough and we pulled our son out of this school mid semester. Our sons mental and physical well-being is the only thing that matters to us.

Our boys have been attending the school since the Toddler Program (daycare) and we were so impressed with the teachers and the Montessori method that we decided to keep them there into the Elementary years (kindergarten and Grade 2). We love the community of parents and events that the school organizes. The Winter Concert is a highlight and very impressive! We also really appreciate the small class sizes and range of activities/subjects…yoga, music and French. Plus the class trips are great. We always feel as though the teachers go above and beyond plus they are very approachable and accessible to connect with for any of our questions/concerns. Highly recommend this school!

We have had an amazing experience here at Guelph Montessori School. The teachers are fantastic and care profoundly for the children. Both my son and daughter go to this school and they love being there together. It is a small community and you can really feel the strength of the teaching and highly recommend this school!

We had an excellent experience at this school despite the other reviews. Our son started in the toddler program and continued into the casa programs, and has excelled in every aspect of his development. He had a great experience with all his teachers; and if there were any questions/concerns they were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. If it wasn't for moving to another city, he would be continuing at this school. I would certainly recommend this school especially if you have toddler aged children and are looking for more than just a regular daycare environment.

Inclusion is not a known word at this place. 1 week of worst experience for my kid with autism. And according to them my kid is not ready to be in any environment with kids. It took me 1 year to write this review because I really need to find the right words to describe my repudiation to places that what they only want is money, or “regular kids”. If you have have a kid with that need some more help, this is not the place for you. Such a regret.

Our daughter started her education/daycare journey with GMS at 18 mos in the toddler room and now years later is in Casa III. As a parent it is incredibly hard to leave your child in anyone else's care all day, even though for many it is a necessity. That being said, we watch our daughter to see how she is responding to her surroundings to ensure it is a good fit, rather than being biased by our adult opinions or assumptions. This is why our daughter is still at GMS three years later. She absolutely loves it. She thrives within this supportive and diverse educational setting, and is lead by motivational and compassionate teachers. Each year she has had a new set of teachers and each time I get nervous, but she doesn't. She has loved every teacher she has had there. She learns music, french, yoga, practical life skills, all while being a kid and offered a safe place to learn and grow. We are thrilled to see her thrive, and now with things opening back up socially post pandemic it is so nice to see a school community growing again outside of the classroom. Opportunities for parents to be more active in the school with the PTA, bookfairs, bake sales, school concerts, etc. This five star review comes from my child, the one who should be deciding if this school is right for her. It just so happens we agree with her.

Our daughter has attended GMS for 9 years. The teachers are very nurturing and and engaged in developing a sense of independence, core community values and problem solving skills. There are a few events throughout the year like the Welcome Barbecue, Winter Concert, Book Fair and the Spring Fling that bring the families together. All in all a great experience. Thank you!
