What can I say? Ryan and his team were all-stars. They tackled every concern I had making my vision for my backyard real. They were courteous and patient with neighbors (as I required access). Love my 500sq ft back deck! Greenroots was amazing to work with from beginning to end. I got to be highly involved in the designing process and selecting materials and then I was able to be completely removed and the final product was as designed. Ryan and his team were excellent at planning, presenting, and executing a large multi-step backyard redesign. We loved Ryan's proposal and he was very receptive about the changes we asked for. He was very open about the value of various materials, and discussed the best choices for our yard and budget. Despite initial weather delays, his team worked hard to meet timelines; they were conscientious about ensuring materials were ordered and available when required, despite the threat of pandemic delays. The team was friendly and respectful, and they were so good with the children on our street who were curious about their work and equipment. We would hire Green Roots again for future projects.

Ryan and the Green Roots team created a fantastic landscape design for our backyard and took meticulous care with all aspects of the project from design to implementation including managing subcontractors for the fence, shed and hot tub installation. Green Roots goes above and beyond, they regarded and reinstalled the entire (and large) patio stone area when the grading and drainage wasn't optimal after a large rainstorm. The team is professional, hard working and tuned in to client needs. I highly recommend them.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Ryan and his team! Ryan’s design for our house (front and back yards) is beautiful and more than we could have hoped for. He matched the style and period of our early 20th-century house perfectly and was very responsive to some minor changes that we requested during the design process. The build was on schedule and the guys were very professional and considerate of us and our neighbours. The brick work on the patio and front walk is especially impressive—beautifully designed and executed. We couldn’t be happier with the final result!

The following is a reference in support of the services provided by GRLI to design and constuct a new, rear sundeck in 2022. From design to construction, completion and close-out, all steps were completed, on time, and on budget, in a very professional manner. The quality of workmanship, together with the choice of materiel produced an outcome beyond expectations. GRLI will continue in 2023 to complete some landscape maintenance.
