Best fish and chips around. Chips are not fries, like most other places in Nanaimo. Proper, British-style chips. Lovely and crispy too. Five different kinds of fish to choose from, including Cod, Salmon and Halibut. Batter is beautifully seasoned and nice and light. Comes with tartare sauce and coleslaw. Will be back many times.

Fresh seafood and helpful staff. You can buy to cook at home or order fish and chips from whatever fish they have that day. My group order halibut, cod, and salmon fish and chips and the fish tacos. The cod was like little fishy clouds, crisp on the outside. The halibut was fresh and tasty as was the salmon. I couldn't convince my son to let me try his tacos but he assured me they were delicious. Make a trip here if you can.

Fish tacos were really good, i liked the coleslaw on then. The fish and chips were tasty and generous portions. The guy working was fast and friendly.

Disappointed with the cod fish and chips. We usually go to Maggie’s but unfortunately they’re closed at the moment. The fish and the fries were soggy and the fries portion was pretty small for the ‘family pack’. It looks and taste as though the fish was frozen and reheated?? The only thing we liked was the coleslaw. Needless to say, we will not be eating there.

After a long and expensive search, I have finally found IMO the best fish and chips anywhere. Where do I begin......The portions were large, so you certainly get what you pay for, however, you really should ask for extra ketchup and tartar sauce, you'll need it...lolThe taste was amazing, so delicious. Right down to the tartar sauce and coleslaw. Everything was awesome. I will certainly be back.

Finally! found THE best fish n chips on the island. The fish was so fresh and perfectly battered, like in Ireland, soft but brown, not a big mess of greasy crispy. best chips too - like chippy truck quality, you could tell they had been double cooked. and the batter is dairy-free to boot! 4 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo. It has been a long and frustrating search...cannot wait to return. incredible selectioon of other seafood and friendly service too. yeay!

What an amazing find! We were passing through Nanaimo and needed a late lunch spot… the service was fabulous and the fish and chips were delicious! Couldn’t have found a better fish taco, either! What great selection and the prices were great!

Cannot go wrong w/some yummy and fresh fish and chips.Friendly and simple service. For Dine-in there are only 3 tables, so I am guessing most people grab take-out.
