VPM (V-Tac Payroll Management)

Dealing with V-Tac over the past 10 years the customer support that we have received has been fantastic. They work hard to offer the best performance payroll service and insure that all our needs are met without any hesitation. In the end, it comes down to knowing the business and what they need to help us to be successful and achieve our goals.

I have been using VPM for 11 months now and they are excellent. They save me so much time. I highly recommend them to any small/mid business even with one employee because they know the updated employee guidelines. Pricing is very good for the service they offer.

Let me tell you a story about why we switched payroll providers at our office. It is astonishing how badly our account was handled while we were with VPM. I am not sure if this is the product of a purely incompetent individual or an entire ecosystem of undertrained and unqualified staff. Regardless, I will here give my account of our experience.In my opinion, payroll for a small company, approximately 10 staff members, should not be fraught with so many challenges. When a service is purchased with the promise and expectation that it runs automatically, it should do so.From the client's perspective, VPM suffers from several problems.These include ongoing and repeat technological problems with their digital system, their customer management, and the appearance that they employ at least one staff member who is totally incompetent at performing their role.First, it took a long time for all of our employees to be able to login to their system - repeat attempts, did not work at all in certain browsers, confirmation emails allowing access did not arrive. If memory serves, the process of getting everyone logged in once the system had already been set up, took several weeks.Once they were logged in, some staff members would not see time sheets, or would have days duplicated - their schedule would show Monday Monday Tuesday Tuesday and would not let them proceed until they had entered something in all of duplicate fields. There were other technical issues, but those were the ones our staff would complain about week over week.Let's handle their staff. We were started with a payroll manager who took forever to issue a response, made multiple errors. There were so many errors. The one that comes to mind was - overpaying all of our staff by calculating stat holiday pay based on the wrong province's guidelines. This is not something that should ever happen in a properly run payroll company. We told them around one of these error incidents, that either they could switch our payroll manager, or we would switch companies.We were apparently switched to a different payroll manager. V-Tac Payroll Management has been my payroll provider since 2007, the management team and staff are extremely efficient and professional. On some occasions when I make a mistake or two, they are quick to respond to my need to correct. Thank you Nazim & Nur for your excellent service.

They assign a payroll consultant to your account so you always have a point of contact, this made things a lot easier as the consultant knew my account and could help me with any issues I had.
