All in all a great store almost always has what I need just wish they would actually go good for stuff with lifetime warranty instead of argue with you about it (only half the customer service staff does the rest is very friendly and nice

I generally like the mechanics at this location the service manager is very nice but what I think is the assistant service manager is consistently rude to me everytime I am in there. If you ask a guy if he had his steering aligned recently maybe dont ask him if he is sure had it aligned recently not sure why i would lie about that. I think I've had enough of this guy and will take my business else where

This place is absolutely terrible I speak Russian in one of the ladies working at the cash register was making fun of me because I couldn’t pronounce the word in English right…Also while I was in the store my five-year-old son got lost I thought I was about to have a panic attack but then I finally found him and one of the people working there was yelling at my son and my son came running to me crying I highly recommend avoiding this place definitely not coming there again

Terrible customer service. We went to return an item for warranty and did not have receipt. We contacted CTFS before heading to the store. They provided us the item# and the date of purchase and recommended that the store can look up the receipt with the last 4 digits of the card and your rewards card #. The rep was not professional at all and she laughed at us twice during the conversation and treated us like we do not exist. There were 5 people in the customer service and they were all giving us looks and making us uncomfortable. They declined to honour the warranty and did not look up the receipt and told us to keep our receipt. It was very unpleasant experience for us and hopefully somebody from the management can read this feedback and can train those employees how to deal with clients professionally and how to conduct themself without eye rolls. Disappointed with the customer service!!!

Canadian Tire in Truro provided us with exceptional service, both in the store and the automotive service department. Bought four new tires and had them installed by appointment. They were right on schedule, and we spent the waiting time shopping in the store. Every employee was helpful and knowledgeable, and the service we received was outstanding. Thank you to the entire team!

The store has received a Hugh amount of stock which is a good thing but they have totally reorganized the store. But today was a good day and an associate helped me. Finally the store had two cashiers so checkout went fast.

I've been meaning to write this since before Christmas. Just before Chrismas, 2022, after a huge snowfall in Cape Breton (where I reside), I had a medical appointment in Truro. I unburied my car from the snow, but it took a lot of spinning and rocking to break through the snow that was under and infront of it. I am a heart attack survivor, so shoveling didn't appeal to my good sense.I left my appointment in Truro and heard something dragging under the front of the car. I could see a panel of some sort had broken in two and was dragging on the ground. I headed to Canadian Tire. It was just past 4 pm. Two men were behind the counter. I asked if I could get some help. The employee who was on his computer trying to fix it and who didn't look up said they were too busy and to try down the street. Just then the Service Manager returned. I told him my problem and he could see I was in distress and really stuck because I had an almost three hour drive back home ahead of me. I told him his coworker suggested I go down the street for help but it was late in the day and I was afraid they would turn me away also. The Service Manager told me he'd fix it himself. He told me to wait and he took my keys, located my car in the parking lot, drove it to the service area and lickitty split, had the pieces tied up in no time! I asked how much, and he said it was fine. I told him it was no wonder he was the Manager of the Department because he knows Customer service!!I would appreciate his name and your mailing address. I thought I would remember it, but with Christmas and other recent events, I've forgotten. I have a little Thank You card I would like to send to him.The fact that this act of kindness happened over two months ago is a testament to the impact it had on me.He's a keeper, Canadian Tire!!

This morning I tried to take a 12v battery back that would not work, when I took it to the parts counter the man working the counter was so rude. He wouldn’t even speak to me, told me that I was lying about the battery. Shoved me off as if I was a nuisance. Told me “I won’t even touch that” and blew me off to the next person. I wish I had gotten his name on his tag so I could make a more formal complaint. He was a smaller framed elderly man. I was completely taken back by the disgusting manner in which he treated me. Whether he was having a bad day or not, then as he walked away he hollered to the other workers and so everyone else in the surrounding area could hear, “she’s trying to say it’s a new battery, and expects to return it” my father who was standing a few isles over heard him. How humiliating!!! He passed me on to another worker who I must say was very nice. However they wouldn’t do anything about the battery. Told me manager would be in later today and would be a better person to speak with over the matter. I’ve always been a faithful customer at this location but after today, I won’t be back.
