Canadian PUPS Portable Storage - Winnipeg

This company was misleading and unreliable from the very start. I initially booked online, and then finished up finalizing details by phone. I followed all requirements, including a street parking permit due to snow clearing bylaws, and provided a copy to the company, confirming everything twice before booking labour to move items into the pod. The day the pod was due to arrive, they were later and later, and it wasn't until I reached out that I discovered they had cancelled due to bylaws (the ones that required the permit I had already sent a copy of).Already I was out money for labourers, and the permit, and the pod - all with nothing to show for it. I had to speak with numerous people who all were uninformed, advised there was nothing I could do, and eventually I was able to speak to a manager here in the city. He was rude, unhelpful, but eventually I had the pod delivered and was able to beg help from friends and family, since I couldn't afford to hire labourers to do the actual work instead of hanging around for a pod that hadn't arrived.Due to a prolonged illness and disability, the stress and financial impact were much worse than they had to be. In the time my belongings were in storage, they raised rates arbitrarily multiple times until the cost was 150% of the original quote. Although the service reps had repeatedly confirmed per month pricing, it was actually on a 4 week schedule, and if you have ever had to live in a monthly disability insurance payment, you'd know how disastrous that miscommunication could be.The retrieval of my belongings was not any better, with service reps making promises that the staff moving the pods have no intention of complying with, and threatening additional charges if I wasn't able to change everything for them on the spot while they sat on the street out front of my house.Ableist, rude, entitled, disorganized, and dishonest. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with any service, and during a time when illness had left me with limited resources and even more limited ability to counter their wilful incompetence. I would not repeat this experience if they'd been paying me the small fortune they happily scooped from me. I am still bitter over the hundreds of dollars in additional costs on me which left me reliant on the charity of friends and family to get through it all. Do not count on these people. It's fine if you have spare cash to burn and one day is as good as any other for them to follow through, but otherwise it's not worth the headache.Jetinder was lovely on the phone, and the driver doing drop off during the retrieval was very personable, but again the right hand had no clue what the left was up to. I sincerely hope those two find a better employer, because it sucks for good people to work for nasty companies.

Contacted Pups/Cube It for a container delivery. They were fast to answer all my questions and setup my reservation. When I had an unexpected change of plans and needed to cancel my reservation, the support staff were just as friendly and helpful in cancelling my reservation. I would definitely recommend working with them for their customer service alone!

The Cubeit I ordered arrived when I asked and provided the storage space I needed. The staff was extremely polite and professional. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The staff were so helpful with our cross country move. Both booking and on site staff went above and beyond, I would recommend to anyone.

The Staff is Super friendly and Supportive to your needs. They go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The Drivers as well were great to deal with and very pleasant, Great company to wok with for your storage needs.

I am always impressed with the friendly and courteous people with whom I have dealt with from when the unit was dropped off to being picked to dealing with financial invoicing. Everyone was pleasant to speak with. You have a pride in your work and it shines through. Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience.

The whole experience worked out really great! They were able to place the storage container out-of-the-way on my driveway so that we were still able to use the driveway and garage, and the drivers were excellent and everyone we’ve talked to were very courteous and professional. You can tell that they are customer focussed! Would definitely recommend!!!

Driver hit my house his boom while entering the driveway. The claims department is a nightmare to deal with. They wouldn’t give an exact number that they would cover and they take long periods of time to respond. I was told that a claims department representative would contact me and they never did. Over 3 months later I’ve decided to go through MPI as I really don’t trust the shady claims department this company operates. I have all the emails to show how bad it is. This should of been resolved within a couple weeks after it happened. Now I’m getting multiple quotes and waisting even more of my time. I wish I never hired them. Horrible company.

I called - they gave me a price that was in my budget. They delivered it right on time. The delivery driver was very courteous, helpful and kind. He offered suggestions on how to level the container and was helpful on where to place it in regards to my needs. All in all a great experience. Would definitely recommend this company.
