Friendly staff and fresh seafood. I love how authentic the environment is and we were seated right away. I ordered the assorted sashimi and the marinated eggplant which were both delicious. Very simple but fresh. The prices are average izakaya prices so it can get quite pricey depending on how much you order. Overall, a great place to try.

Haven't been here for a while, it is still very good. You have to try the house special menu which isn't available until 5:30pm. The stewed pork with daikon and running egg is really good, we also liked ebi mayo and qrilled squid

I used to love this place. But this past time is sad. Most of the dishes are ok, but we ordered a bluefin sashimi special, and its a special item with premium cost, yet when the dish came, you can obviously see discoloration and it tasted off..... got the kitchen staffs to check it, even tho they said it is ok/normal, I am still not going to eat the rest of it. They took it away, still charged me tho (thats ok....).

Always an amazing time here. Been coming here for over a decade. Super to see them survive this long and still going strong. Great good, staff, service, food and drinks. What more do you want. Always fun and energetic ambience. Always busy too. Like I said, been coming here for a long time and I plan to keep coming back. Highly recommend

I love Guu! They have such unique and tasty dishes. I definitely recommend the takowasabi if you like the taste of wasabi, it's not too spicy! The sashimi salad is also very good. So many dishes to try you have to come again and again! They also have floor seating which is so comfy.

Came here for some tapas before we went to the beach. Service was quick & friendly, and the food was fast & delicious! We ordered a few things here we haven’t tried before and a couple of our usuals. The grilled pork cheek was my favourite. Presentation could be a little better & the seats outside were a bit dirty (grease from what I assume to be previous customers were not wiped off) but it’s an Izakaya so not a ton of marks taken off there.

Fantastic drinks and food here. Slightly pricey side but we'll worth a visit in the downtown area. Great service and super amazing staff.
