Just had my first experience at Happy Jacks tonight. I have to say i was very impressed, from the food, to the service and the quality of the drinks. Will definitely make it a regular date night. Especially now that they are open sundays! (Its the only day i have off so thats why i was never able to try it before)

Loved our dinner at Happy Jacks tonight - everyone’s meal was fabulous. The fish tacos were some of the best I have tried. Love that two sides come with a burger without the portions feeling overwhelming. Keep up the good work! It was worth the drive, and we’ll be back.

Not sure what happened but for a restaurant with so many tables, they were unprepared for a weekend dinner service. We were told about a 20 minute wait and we okay'd waiting to get seated.The problem is after we got seated and got our drink order. We waited for another 20 minutes before our server came to put in our meal order, after another table that came later got to put in an order with the staff without waiting. We had to leave and paid for our drinks to catch our movie. Walked in at 5:30 and walked out at 6:40 still hungry. The food looked good but we didn't get a chance.

5-Star experience. Was in Houston for one evening, stopped for dinner. 5mins after sitting down the power went out. Everyone was great to deal with, they handled it so well and were still able to make my Dad and I’s meals. Large portions. Delicious food. Great staff. Nice ambiance. It’s the go to place in town in my books. Worth a stop in if your traveling through town.

I love happy Jacks, cause I know the owners personally. I have never been there but I just know it's amazing cause the owners are amazing! They are a young family just trying to make their way.........so be nice and give them a fair chance. They put all they had into it just to make people have a nice place to go. They are just like you and me. Go eat there for god sakes. Healey!

Good selection of appetizers and Happy hour drinks. Personally, the hot" wings could be hotter and the burger could be served less " well done". Great service

The burgers were absolutely delicious, however the sides were just average.The servers seemed a bit distracted (even though we were the only ones in the restaurant) as we had to go up to the counter three times to ask for forks, water, etc..
