Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown, an IHG Hotel

My group of five stayed here for a quick weekend trip to Vancouver. The staff were super friendly and check in was a breeze. They also happily provided us with extra towels.The room was clean and spacious. We had a family suite which provided two queen beds and a single bed.The location of the hotel is also perfect to access most of Vancouver’s highlights. Don’t hesitate to book!

We stayed for 1 night in May 2023. Note: Breakfast is NOT included in the cost of the room, you will need to pay extra. If you did not pre-purchase for breakfast, there's a restaurant inside this hotel but it does cost $17 / $21 per person!! We did not dine here. There is an in-room coffee maker but it only takes a cup of water. If you are utilizing their mugs, be careful as they are not sized for the fill line, so it leaves no room for creamer with an easy potential for spills!The bed was comfortable, we had a view of the neighborhood community center. It was not too noisy considering the hospital is only a block over. The room was spacious.However, we had trouble with the shower door as it doesn't stay close, so we had to keep it closed with a towel or find other means.

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it.Great staff, friendly, welcoming, clean, quiet, and secure. They were renovating on the floor I was on, but it didn't bother me because the room I had was well away from the renovations. The restaurant downstairs in the lobby is separate from the hotel but it's very good as well and the service was excellent and friendly. The homemade chicken soup was delicious. Great location too.

Worth every penny! Great service, super clean modern rooms with solid amenities. The pool is really cool, the restaurant is amazing, it’s super safe and parking is secure. We stayed our first night at a nearby hostel, tried to save a few bucks, and were miserable, switching here for the rest of our trip has salvaged the entire experience. Before, fentanyl blown in your face as I exited the building, two blocks away it’s a whole different world. This place rocks!

I booked this accommodation at extremely short notice for my 25 year old son and 4 friends. They needed a room that could accommodate 5 of them, and not too expensive and the Holiday Inn fitted the bill. It is centrally located which was perfect for them to head down to Rogers Arena for a concert and then head back to a few bars.No problems checking in and he said the room was a decent size for them all, he also said the air conditioning was spot on.

The room and bed was very comfortable, cleanliness of room was also good, staff were also very friendly. We did have a couple of nights where our floor had about 4-5 rooms booked up by what looked like a college party, loud music and teenagers drinking in the corridor with loud music, but it did die down around 1-2am. Pool was nice and warm, but when we got there there were beer cans and towels everywhere, which I assume was left by the party going on upstairs. This may have just been a one off, but other than these 2 days, hotel was lovely and quiet.
