Hair District

This was the second time that I came to this salon for a wash and blow dry.Unlike the first time, the second time a gentleman started washing my hair. There was some pulling during the wash, but nothing too serious. Then he started untangling my hair after drying it for a little bit with a towel and hairdryer. He was constantly pulling and tearing my hair as if this is the first time he is working on untangling long colored hair. If it wasn't for all the tearing, I would have tolerated the pulling. But after a few more batches of torn hair, I decided that it is not worth it to damage my hair so severely and only paid for the hair wash and left. When I complained, he said it is because of my highlights! How about using a plastic/wooden brush for untangling my hair rather than pulling it with the metal comb?!Attached picture is just one batch of torn hair.I would have given 1 star if I wasn't happy the first time that I went to this salon for a blowdry.Advice for customers: know who is going to work on your hair before going there.

I can't believe there is a hair salon that cannot give you a good hair blow dry!!All I wanted to have is a good hair dry for myself and daughter! and ended up with a messed up hair!they wanted to use a hair straightener at first and they were surprised when I asked them to use a hair dryer instead!!The sad thing is I have an occasion today!!!

Very poor service . I made an online appointment with a Japanese stylist and made a clear note, I also called again to confirm before I went there. When I arrived at the store, they told me that the Japanese stylist was on vacation today and asked me to find another stylist to cut my hair. I ask how is the technology? The front desk said, you can try it, the technology is very good, I would like to ask which customer will try it with their own hair?

It was my first time at the Hair District Salon. My friend referred me to this place as he's been going here for years, and they did not disappoint! I was very satisfied with my experience. Lin is very knowledgeable and she took her time styling and cutting my hair. She would share her opinion, made sure my hair won't be damaged after colouring, and was able to achieve the hair colour that I wanted. I'll be coming back for sure!

I went to Hair District for the first time last week. I was very stressed but when I met Kelly who was taking care of me for my keratin treatment, everything changed. She was very nice, friendly and patient. I recommend her 100%. She knows her job and is very passionate about it.She made my experience at Hair District successful.I am very happy with the results. I will recommend her to my friends.

I've been going to Hair District for about 5 years and Yin and her team are reliably amazing! Yin is an excellent stylist and is the only person I trust to cut my hair. I also recently got my hair dyed purple with highlights and really appreciated Yin's hard work in getting the colours just right - I'm thrilled with the result!

Patricia is very sweet, nice, and funny. She made my first haircut in Toronto easy. I will definitely go back to her.

I was so lucky today! I got a great hair color; a great chat which add colors to my short visit to Toronto. The senior stylist Ms Yuna, treated me with good care and sincerity. Gave me good advices and explanations… Highly recommended!

Came here for a wash, cut and style this past Saturday and couldn’t be happier with the final product. Yuna is absolutely fantastic; always curious to know what you like and what you want but makes great suggestions and takes initiative. She’s also very sweet! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
