Kelso's Bikes

Both my neighbour and a good friend, who are two very avid bike enthusiasts, independently of each other took their mountain bikes to Kelso's for repairs and servicing. They were both singing the praises of the workmanship and friendly service they received at Kelso's, and the pricing was very fair also. Between the two of them, they have convinced me to take my bike in for a tune-up also. Just wanted to pass this on and give credit where it's due.

I took my bike here last week for a flat tire repair. I'm not sure how these prices compare to other shops, but I was super pleased with the service. He did the repair right there on the spot, and it took no more than 5 minutes. Kyle is a friendly owner. I will definitely be going back for all my bike needs!

This is a really great service shop for Cochrane and the area. Every time I come in Kyle takes the time to chat with me and talk about bikes, you can tell he’s really passionate about bikes. The service is great with awesome pricing. It’s nice to talk to the guy actually working in your bike. Give this shop a try, you won’t be disappointed!

This week the chain on my sons bike got lodged into the gears and bent some of its components - leaving it unrideable as well as beyond my bike repair abilities (read: barely any). Being the first weekend of summer holidays my boy was pretty disappointed. I emailed Kelso's Bikes (Kyle) and he told me to bring it on over for him to see what he can do. He took the time out of his day off to get my sons bike up and running SAFELY for the weekend (I didn't even realize he was closed today until I started to write this review). He explained in detail what had happened and what is needed to fully repair it when we get the parts necessary. Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.There are some things in life that I find necessary to pay someone to do, and some things I think I'll just do on my own (or just ignore completely, rather) b/c it'll save me some bucks. Bicycle maintenance was one of those things.I could take the time to youtube some of the basic maintenance I'd need for all of our bikes, and likely have our bikes last a bit longer (or more realistically, damage them lol). You get my point..However - when you meet someone who puts this much passion into what he does AND who went above and beyond to help a child - if you have a choice to offer that same support back, (especially within your own community), you do it.Plus its actually going to extend the life of our bikes and improve our ride.Kyle, we'll definitely be bringing all of our bikes to you regularly. We are very grateful for your help, thank you so much!

Kyle is awesome, he always helps out with my kids bikes and tonight with mine, I had an issue with my bike today and he resolved it in 10mns plus extra concerns I had, for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Just purchased a Bike from Kelso's Bikes - quality & honest service. Was impressed with the information provided on the bike.When I was in; the owner was also very helpful with many other people that were in the shop.Prices for service and maintenance looked reasonable as well.

I walked into Kelso Bikes on a hot day and I thought, this is a cool shop! And then I thought the guy behind the counter looked cool too. I didn't have my bike Bluebelle with me at the time, but I just needed a tiny essential part and Kyle hooked me up. I felt really good about the vibe in the shop and I'm thinking it's going to be my go-to bike shop from now on. Definitely check it out!
