Sagebrook Developments Inc. hired Kathy and her team because we wanted something unique and different for our projects. We have completed a couple of multi-family projects as well as a luxury single family home with Phase One Designs and it is always nice to hear the great feedback we receive in regards to the well thought out designs of our homes. My wife and I first used Phase One Design to redesign our downtown condo. We knew the elements we wanted included in the kitchen but had no idea how to fit this large wish list into the redesign. Kathy and her team included all of our wishes into a layout that we would never have come up with on our own. It was my wife's dream kitchen. They defined all of the area with innovative ceiling details, we loved it. When we decided to move from the condo to an inner-city home we knew that Kathy's team would be able to recreate this perfection in our new home. During our selection of a home we had Kathy in to view the home that we were going to make an offer on, to get her opinion on what could be done. She was in complete agreement that she could make this chopped up space feel open and spacious, just like our condo. Again she did exactly what she said she would do and the plans are great. They worked with us and an engineer to ensure that the building permit would be approved with no problem as well, since they know all of the requirements. Once we finish the renovation it will again be our dream space.

As a newcomer to Calgary, I'm grateful to have found Phase One. There are many new rules and codes to build our new dream home, and Kathy shared all her knowledge and experience with us, and her amazing team (especially Lindsay) helped us design great spaces for all our needs and aspirations. We know the design process can sometimes be frustrating, but it is worth it in the end.

We worked with phase one design for the custom build of our home. All the staff at phase one were phenomenal in designing exactly what we wanted and really helped us to design a home that was functional and beautiful to our needs. We ran into some issues with our initial builder and they worked with us and supported us through it all. They handle the entire process through permitting, making it nearly stress free for us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a home designed.

Phase One is a creative bunch who are able to generate interesting and striking ideas. We have been working with them for quite a few years and they are always receptive to what clients are looking for. They are an ego free group and are always up for a challenge. If you're a contractor/supplier, DO NOT work with this firm! Kathy does not pay her bills. I have invoices outstanding over 6 months and she has ignored me for the majority that time. Highly advise against providing any service to this business, you'll never get paid for it.

Kathy and her team at Phase One design have been fantastic to deal with over the past decade. The team has helped my team and i on over fifteen projects and consistently provides a fun experience for myself and my clients. We absolutely love dealing with the Phase One team at Cook Custom Homes!

Organised and responsive with awesome talent. Phase1 has great communication skills and protocol that keeps our clients and us informed and happy. Its great being able to have Kathy, Jessica and team help our clients. I recommend them to anyone wanting to design a home or large renovation.
