Pioneer - Gas Station

Good clean store. Courteous staff. This store also did NOT carry the Coca -Cola 310ml can that was in my rewards. 3rd store that did NOT have it. Rewards stuff should be available WITHOUT having to search till the ends of the earth!!!

Let me rephrase my comments. The gas prices are garbage due to the economy and time we live in. If I was going to rate this gas station fairly. I would say it is top 3 for cheapest in gas. If it's not number one. As for the service and staff. That's the reason I gave it the 5 stars. These people that work here are superstars.

Went in to buy cigarettes. Woman behind counter extremely ignorant. Had mask on but was not covering my nose. As I was pulling it over like she asked, I said I don't understand with the plexiglass but whatever...she refused my business and when I asked her name she threatened and proceeded to pick up her phone to call police!! NEVER, will I even think about ever going to a Pioneer station again. The fact she would threaten to call cops for asking her name is beyond me. I wasn't belligerent, rude, ignorant or mean, for some strange reason I stayed calm. Thanks to her, I will be removing my companies gas cards over to a different gas station

Great deal. Love journey...its worth it

I love this Pioneer gas station! We don't go to Tim Hortons but we sure go to the beer store. It's generally quite busy, but the traffic is so spontaneous it usually never develops into an issue. We rate gas stations by their accessibilities. As well as by the amenities offered depending on station. This particular pioneer is on a busy road, but it generally has a price range in the mid area for your wallet. We highly recommend getting Gas Buddy app, is this allows for points and for free stuff if you sign up.

This station is good. I go here pretty much all the time. Staff is friendly and I chat with them when I go in. Never had issues with the gasoline they sell. Decent promotions in store.

Whoever is responsible for the type of POS system at this location is CHEAP and it’s ridiculous. I stopped at this Pioneer as a consumer that has a linked CIBC Mastercard to my Journie points card. Went to tap using my Apple Watch and it wouldn’t work. I don’t carry this card with me. The cashier says that it’s an old system and that “sometimes” it works. I tried about 3 times, still didn’t work. I then decided to use a different, actual card. I tapped it, still didn’t work. So the only option was to insert my card. Not only did I not get my cash back with my MC, I ALSO did not save $ on the Litres. It’s 2022 and you can’t even tap? Not to mention, their pumps move slow like molasses. I won’t be coming here again. Pioneer needs to have a conversation with this location - it’s a bad reflection of the brand.

I wanted to purchase something using both my debit cards since I only had enough but split on each card. Megan, a cashier at pioneer laughed at me, shaking her head no, and telling me that she has never heard of using two cards before, only cash and a card. I explained that I was in there a week ago and another employee did it just fine, she just shook her head and laughed. I told her that I was sorry but that was all I had and if she could please ask another employee just incase maybe they know how to do it. Megan just laughed and said sorry no. PIONEER maybe train your employees to use the cash register.

They always have good gas prices compared to other places

Megan is awesome. I really appreciated her help and patience. I’ve been in there a few times when she is working and she is always smiling and courteous. Gas is always a good price here and I like getting points so I visit Pioneers often.
