If I had a choice I would not even give them one star. I had to write this review. I recently bought a dishwasher from Ashdown and not knowing there are certain parts that do not come with the dishwasher to make it run. I was not told this at the time and when I went to tell the manager that I would like some information so I could send a complaint to the manufacturer. He went on the defensive was very rude to me and scoffed at me for not having the internet. He also informed me that everyone buys on the internet so he basically said that no one shops anymore and that is what I should do is shop on the internet. With service like that I will not be shopping at Ashdown anymore and i will have to shop elsewhere.

While I did not go to the store to initiate the purchase of our new washer (my hubby did the footwork), I was contacted and presented with all the information necessary. The salesperson made sure we got the sale price even though the washer wasn't in stock....it arrived a couple of days later and was installed by two young men who were adamant that they were not leaving until it was installed to perfection....thank you to those young men....you are fine examples of good work ethic...Colin and Chase (I think). The machine is fantastic....faster, cleans better, more interior capacity and takes up a little less space. The only negative is that the door is lower than on my old model....but exercise is good!!! Thank you so much to everyone for such a great experience.

Website sucks. Can't price anything. What I was looking for I'd have to run stairs in store. No thank you. I recommend fixing your website. Now I'm going to check Amazon and Wayfair online for a computer desk and a bed

When there had amazing service. I'm in a wheelchair and and Karrie was awesome to work with. She got right down on the floor and was measuring bed frames and mattresses for me figuring out the perfect height for my transfering. She went above and beyond to get me my bed that day. I really appreciated the awesome service. Thank you very much Karrie!!!!

I bought an 11.0 cu ft freezer from here, which was delivered (free delivery) today. I have to give this place an all-star rating because it was the smoothest sale/purchase I have gone through in awhile, in this town. I walked into the store, paid for it and was told it would be delivered between 1 and 4 the next day (saturday). Reliably, my freezer showed up on the truck, and the two boys handling it, seem very competent. I've had problems with other stores, purchasing bigger items and this was the first hassle-free shopping I have experienced in a long time. Thank YOU, Ashdown's !!! (PS. Freezer is working great, but Danby brand always does)

Went to Ashdown looking for a portable dishwasher had to order one in. the staff found me a 18 in one that would be on next truck. Well didn't come. Was not told that it would be a special order but it was put on my bill payed for it up front still waiting for it tryed to cancel the order but since they say it's a special order they want to keep 25 percent so now I'm waiting for it to come in. I guess shopping local is not a good thing need a fridge guess going to regina for that.

Very understanding! Easy to deal with! Bought a brand new washer that unfortunately came broken and started leaking! They replaced the whole machine no questions asked! 100% recommend!

For a local business which are usually family focused, this one is far from that. They might have some nice furniture but how management treats employees is not right, pretty sure the delivery vehicle would not pass safety standards and the employees are not given proper safety gear. I had furniture delivered and I'm pretty sure the guys did not have proper attire on which they should Been supplied, showing that there is no concern for their staff safety. As a local business which is usually focused on family it's sad to hear that an employee was let go when asking to flex time so they could watch their step child but management and owner determines that step child is not the employee responsibility. Pretty sure owner has a blended family, very sad that they are not understanding of situations and feel they determine that a step child is not ones responsibility. Horrible company that clearly does not realize they are discriminatory based on gender , If female employee be different. If you want work her reconsider. Know your rights because they play favoritism based on gender. Hope a complaint to human rights commission is filed.
