Nice lake in La Mauricie National Park. Canoe and kayak rentals are available to use anywhere on the lake. The lake is always beautiful and doesn't tend to get to packed with tourists, so it's always a nice visit on clear days. Although the beach here isn't as nice as nearby Lac Édouard, it still makes for a nice visit when visiting the park.

Not the place to rent canoes if you’re planning any portages. The “ultra-light” canoes may have been considered light when they were made 20-30 years ago, but they are heavy compared to modern Kevlar canoes. Paddles and life jackets were equally ancient. It’s unfortunate that Parks Canada wouldn’t push for a higher standard of equipment in their park.

Nous avons pu louer un canot pour la journée afin de nous rendre aux chutes Waber et au lac Anticagamac,Il n'y a pas de sac étanche de fourni, ça aurait pu être pratique.Les gilets de sauvetages sont fournis ainsi qu'un kit de secours,Les prix sont raisonnables

Magnifique endroit à découvrir.Location de canoë et kayak. Parcours au chute Waber recommandé. Si vous avez de plus gros sacs à dos. Je suggère la location de canoë.

I saw a bad review that said the canoes sucked. I wouldn't say so. If you were going on a multi-day canoe trip with lots of portages, then yes they were really heavy and wouldn't be great. But they get the job done for day trips with no portages which is was 99% of the people who are renting them in this location are using them for. These canoes are perfect for the trip to Waber Falls. There are no portages and the canoe I had didn't have anything wrong with it. I think I saw some Kevlar canoes as well that could be rented if you had an overnight trip.
