We have a very high energy husky shepherd puppy who had become more than we could handle to the point where we weren’t sure what we should do. We signed her up initially for a group training program locally with the result being a now very anxious puppy and two very frustrated puppy parents. It was a waste of time and money. We could no longer take her for walks, were nervous to invite anyone over, and were generally at our witt’s end.As a last resort we called Wendell and signed up for his training program. Within our first assessment session, he had her walking nicely beside us, and that was just the beginning. Wendell came to our place for two sessions so that he could helps us learn how to overcome challenges we faced in our home and community. Our son recently commented that our crazy girl is now the best behaved dog on the block! Through our sessions, Wendell taught us through humour and straightforwardness that we needed the training as much and probably more than Hazel did. Hazel has now graduated from Wendell’s basic training course and we are beyond grateful.I would absolutely recommend any dog owner to take this course. Thank you so much Wendell!

Having a high energy Australian Shepherd with no previous experience training dogs, I was having a lot of trouble maintaining Remy's behaviour and reactivity outside and inside the house. We tried many different trainers, videos, books and training aids which didn't help much. After taking him to Wendell, we had noticed positive changes after just ONE session, and this continued through the following 7 sessions until our first program was complete. Wendell doesn't train your dog, he trains YOU to train your dog and this has helped us tremendously managing behaviour over the long term. Working with Wendal has been amazing, the changes in my dog have been outstanding! Having a bigger dog was definitely a challenge taking him for walks and having him listen to me. Wendell is an amazing dog trainer. I took my German Shepherd pup to him at about 6 months old, and Wendell showed me how to work with him, or more acurately trained me to properly handle my dog. Highly recommend.

We first brought our two year old German Shepherd dog Rudy to Wendell of K9 Confidence about 8 years ago for obedience training, and after the first class of Wendell training us and Rudy we already noticed a positive change and after 6 classes our spoiled Brat became a Good Boy!! Denver and I began our basic obedience training when Denver was 6 months, the perfect age. I was immediately impressed with Wendell's philosophy, his approach and delivery of training. Wendell is very knowledgeable and communicated extremely well as he was training both Denver and myself. He came to our house and we walked the streets to train with all the distracting sounds and sights Denver would be expected to deal with everyday. I found this immensely better than the typical sheltered controlled environment. I highly recommend Wendell to anyone and their dog.

Wendell is phenomenal. I’ve know Wendell for years, and always wanted to get a dog from him. Well 2023 was finally the golden year. We got a beautiful female German Shepherd from him. Her breeding and temperament are amazing, and the confidence we have with the dog coming from Wendell is the highest. We also have been doing training with Wendell and it has been going great. He’s given us the confidence to know we are taking the right steps. Highly recommend.
