Brantford & District Civic Centre

Amazing hockey venue. Over 2k seats and great ice surface. The change rooms were a bit small, but not a big deal. The staff were on point and whoever was queuing the music between whistles nailed it. Washrooms were very clean and the warm water at the hand wash station was a nice surprise. Awesome that Gretzky has skated there many times.

Love watching my grandson play hockey there! Track is nice to be able to watch games and walk at same time!There's a concession stand and a memorabilia center as well .

Visited recently to pick out my seats for the Bulldogs and was very impressed with the condition of the arena given how old it is. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the renovations once they are completed. Even though this arena is located in a less then desirable area of town it still feels safe because it has it's own parking lot that is very large but still dated. For all it is worth I look forward to attending hockey games here once again since the Brantford Smoke folded so many years ago. From my days playing here I always remember the rooms being clean and the ice always in great shape. Hope things only get better with the renovations planed.

We had a hockey tournament a few weeks ago. Beside the power outage, it was all very well done.

A Friday night boxing venue above the ice. Well prepared and run. Compliments to the hard working staff. Ready for skating on Saturday morning opening.

We had a great time at the circus. It was a fun, family event but VERY expensive. After paying for the tickets, it cost us an additional $100+ for face painting, horseback riding, buying a balloon and going down a bouncy slide for 2 kids. I was just not prepared to spend so much at the circus. But, the kids were very happy AND there were no animals involved in the circus, other than horseback riding. Only a mechanical Dumbo! It was more about acrobatics and bike tricks etc. No more animals being mistreated! In all, we had a great time at the Civic Centre. I can't wait to take the grandkids to see some hockey games there. And there's lots of free parking!

Wish there was a concession open, but there also wasn't more than 20 people in the stands.. so unless they are volunteer they wouldn't make money. Great to get out for a hockey game regardless.

Just attended a boxing event here on May the 6th and we were held hostage inside for the entire event. Not even allowed outside to have a cigarette. This is the communist country we're now living in.
