John Crowther Desjardins Insurance Agent

Started shopping new insurance co.'s in January. Got a decent price from these guys so went into the office mid-Feb to go over all the fine details and walked out with a written quote in-hand. When we went back in April 2nd to finalize it they refused to honour the quote. They said that the quote was only good for 55 days and since original quote was in January then the 55 days were up. It apparently didn't matter that the written quote we had was in February (well within their 55 day limit and regardless of no one telling us there was a time limit on quote) and told us we'd have to pay almost double original quote. This is my home, my cars and mine and my family's life; I will not risk all that on a company that does not honour it's word. If they are going to be so adamant about a little over $1000 over the course of a year what are they going to do when you throw a million dollar liability claim at them? Completely untrustworthy company. Go somewhere else before you get scammed.

Great service. I no longer live in London but they always take care of me over the phone. Even sent me new slips for my new vehicle by email. Great to talk to over the phone. Very helpful
