Honest and helpful people. Great local Kensington culture. Got my oil change done, simple and easy. Another day had a battery issue and walked in with it and they tested it on the spot no charge and we’re very helpful with suggestions on replacements even though there was nothing in it for them. I’ll be back there first thing next time something goes wrong with my car.

I am super impressed with Kensington Automotive. I am on a driving trip with the weekend in Toronto. I hit a pothole coming into town and developed a nasty rattle in the undercarriage. I took my car to Kensington and Leon looked at it immediately and had me leave it even though I had no appointment and even though they were completely booked with appointments for others. Less than an hour later, the car was fixed and I was on my way. And the cost was very reasonable. Thank you for rescuing my driving holiday. Use these good people. Ask for Leon. Purchased a set of Michelin winter tires here, came in $100 less than other shops downtown. Really fast and quick service, friendly staff, no annoying upsell attempts. Will bring in my car for brake service here next month.

They were super attentive, ensured I understood what was wrong with my car, and when I called late last minute that they had no problem helping me tonight. Got my car safety done here and they did a fantastic job. They were able to take me same day, and were very professional and quick. Tgey installed two new tires and the price was very reasonable and the staff was very courteous. I would recommend bringing your car here to get safetied or to get any work done as they seem very honest!

I went here to get a safety inspection certificate required for my out-of-province vehicle for the ministry. The service was done quickly. The chaps were very friendly. Given that it is located in Kensington, there are lots of coffee shop, stores and restaurant options while you wait. I will definitely come back here for my future needs - e.g. Winter tire changes etc.

I've met most of the team there, including Elan, Yifan, and Leon (some others are familiar faces but I've yet to meet them). They're approachable, friendly, and always eager to help. Plus, their fluency in multiple languages, including Mandarin and Cantonese, is definitely an asset to the local Chinatown community.What sets Kensington Automotive apart is their honesty and fair pricing. I'm more than comfortable having relatives who are older and don't speak English that well to Kensington. They're ideal for someone like me who isn't car savvy - they explain things thoroughly, with no upselling. I've had my brakes, rotors, hand brake, and tires changed, and even navigated the aftermath of a totaled car with them. Their wide range of services is handled with utmost professionalism.Their hours are amazing (evenings and weekends), perfect for those with demanding and unpredictable schedules. The speed and meticulousness of their service, coupled with their great communication, is special. I've seen staff treat cars in the garage and lot with detail and care. Rented through Turo here. Cheap, reliable and fantastic flexibility. You cannot ask for much more! From booking to a turn around of 60 mins to have key in hand and also extended a day further without much fuss. High cannot recommend Kensington Auto enough.

My brakes wore out during my stay in Toronto, and he replaced them for me on the same day in less than two hours with very reasonable pricing. Friendly and honest people and did an excellent job.
