Real Canadian Superstore 130th Avenue

A friendly clean superstore located in an accessible area of town.Lots of selection with several different gluten free options if you are looking.Lots of fresh food and isles of selection for your pantry.A solid grocery store.

This is my go-to superstore but they need to fix the hours. What happened to 11pm? Now it’s 9 or 10pm and it never stays consistent. I can’t be bothered to drive over and find the doors closed because they can’t figure out a schedule.

We bought this salmon belly pack an hour ago. The top layer looks nice and fresh but the next layer and rest of the package is full of this garbage, smelly , decaying scraps of different fish fragments.. shame on you.. do not be scammed by this crooks!!

On Thursday night, June 15th, I went to the pharmacy at Superstore at around 9 PM. There were two people already in line ahead of me, so I patiently waited for my turn. The staff member at the drop-in counter was a Caucasian male wearing a black shirt with no name tag. It appeared that he was receiving assistance from another staff member standing next to him. When it was finally my turn, the other staff member who was helping him left the store, leaving me alone with him to proceed with my prescription drop-off. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the service I received, and I would like to highlight them:1) First and foremost, the staff member did not greet me at all. There was no acknowledgment or welcoming gesture.2) Throughout the entire interaction, the staff member's eyes were fixated on the computer screen. He did not make any effort to establish eye contact with me, which made me feel ignored and unimportant.3) I found the staff member to be rude when he blamed me for the fact that he couldn't search my Alberta health care card. It seemed like he was lacking training and the ability to navigate the system, yet he put the blame on me.4) Additionally, the staff member never apologized for the inconvenience caused. After waiting for half an hour, I left the store without receiving my medication. When I politely asked if someone else could also take a look at the software on the computer, he responded negatively and pessimistically, stating that there was absolutely no one available.His demeanor and lack of eye contact further contributed to my disappointment. This experience completely ruined my day. The most disheartening part was when I commented that I hoped the customers behind me wouldn't have the same negative experience, his response was absolutely careless and uncaring.I am deeply disappointed and upset that the staff member failed to take responsibility for his mistakes and didn't communicate that he was still in training, asking for understanding. He was arrogant in his inability to find my Alberta Health Card number and displayed rude behavior, lacking genuine interaction with customers. Moreover, he never apologized for the inconvenience caused.In the end, I decided to go to Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy, where they were able to find my record instantly and add my new health care benefit within a few minutes. The contrast between the two experiences was striking. The behavior of the staff member at Superstore pharmacy was truly unprofessional and disappointing.

As good a superstore as any. I did notice that barely anyone stopped abruptly in the aisles and left their cart- which seems to be a superstore-y kinda move at any l9cation I've been to. So yay for that.

At the end of the day I understand that your staff have their closing tasks to complete but please let all customers with a few items use the self checkout and not force us to the longer line.I'm not pleased with the lady working self check out @10:50 pm on Sat June 24th. I had 3 times and she told me no more ppl to the self checkout. It would have taken me 3 min max to ring myself through. Please change your processes to help customers with low item count. I dropped my items in the rack and left. Not good customer service!

Visiting Calgary from Texas. Great selection and prices. Perfect store to buy general merchandise including souvenirs.Cashier was warm and friendly. She took the time to explain the liquor was in Canada which are very different from where we come from.

Go here all the time. Lots of competition on 130th ave and I think this store leads the way. Always look for meat prices and they generally have pork loin for $8/kg which is good value.

Good store. Always busy. They got rid of diet orange PC soda which is why it went down a couple stars.. Love their price matching however.

So... If you're from MB, you would know how our liquor stores are managed by our government.This place is so facinating to me! Well kept, clean, maintained the same ambience within it's company, and NO LINE UPS TO GET INSIDE! No wait to get inside, and I felt so safe, welcomed, and the people working there are so friendly, informative, and helpful.
