David's Optical

The nose pads on my glasses fell a few days ago, and I’ve been searching for a store in Kingston to get it fixed. I found David’s Optical and booked an appointment through phone call (booked it the day I go, it was very convenient).The store is very nice and warm. Although my glasses were from somewhere else, but they helped with changing both nose pads really quick (within 10 min), and helped to adjust other things about the glasses. Everyone there were very kind and nice! And they didn’t charge anything for changing the nose pads. I would really recommend everyone going here for repairs or getting new glasses! Very nice experience!

This place is awesome! Super nice and friendly people and very helpful.I went to every single optical store in town to fix an issue with my eyeglass nose pads, all told me you have to change the frame! I brought my glasses to David's after sitting on them, hoping they could repair my frames. They were able to fix them in minutes, at the very end of the work day on a Friday, AND didn't charge me!I already knew their service was great because my grandparents had been going there for years, but I was blown away!I would definitely recommend going to David's Optical. They are friendly, quick, very skilled, and you can tell they love what they do!

I had recently broken my glasses and needed them to get fixed, on an off chance I went to David's and asked if they could do it for me-- they said yes and it was handled very quickly. The customer service there is wonderful and when my glasses broke a second time a week later (they were more broken than we realised) she fixed them again of no charge. Super kind, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again for my optical needs. Thank you!! 5/5

I had purchased glasses and they were nothing like what my optometrist ordered then they were forcing me to push my glasses way up on my nose when in all actuality I will never wear my glasses that high on my face it's like my eye lashes were scraping the lenses every time I blinked and they were very rude more trying to be funny rude not my kind of shop I never got what I paid for or the proper script

Just fabulous service! Friendly, fast, and so helpful. In a matter of minutes they replaced 2 nose pieces, and tightened the arms of my second pair! At no cost but with the service equal to none! I recommend this place as a first time client then as a long term! It's worth going downtown for! Thanks Ladies!

Went in to get a pair of frames fixed from a rather obscure brand that David’s doesn’t carry. The staff were able to get me sorted out and did the repair same day. Fantastic service and super knowledgable staff!

I broke my glasses this past weekend and was despairing a bit because I expected it to be complicated to get them fixed. I dropped in, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. The team explained some of the risks of doing it yourself (glues and solvents can cause the layers of the lens to separate because of the materials that hold the invisible layers of the lens together), as well as back up options if the repair didn't take (finding frames that fit the lens to keep from needing to pay for new lenses). I think there's a small fee when soldering is required (metal), but because my repair was quick, it was complimentary! The team was very friendly and welcoming, and the frames I briefly looked at while I waited seemed to be stylish and affordable.

What a gem - the staff are friendly & experienced, the selection of frames is superb, and delivery is quick- quite a contrast to the last place I purchased glasses. I have even convinced my wife to buy her glasses at David’s
