This place was recommended from so many people and we only ordered for delivery. Only tried once here, but definitely going to come back. The quality of sushi is beyond expectations and is very, extremely delicious! If you’re in the city or nearby, make sure to try this place out! I heard that the torched ones are super good!

One of the best takeout sushi in Toronto. Definitely the best packed and presented. I wish it was a little bit colder the sushi was room temperature. But excellent quality and taste. Best roll was the spicy salmon. Very reasonable pricing as well.

The fish was incredibly fresh and the rice was cooked to perfection. It was a true delight for the taste buds.Ordering online was incredibly easy and convenient. The confirmation and pickup time were provided promptly, making the process smooth and efficient. When I arrived to pick up my order, the service was on time and quick.Overall, J San Sushi Bar is a hidden gem that I will definitely visit again. Their sushi is delicious, quickly made, professionally served and well priced. Definitely recommend ! I love their pick up system, they are able to be 100% efficient even during peak lunch hours. I am very impressed with the cleanness and appearance of the store too. Thank you for the amazing sushi experience !

One of the best take-out sushi that located in downtown Toronto. I used to live in HOEM so I have ordered so many times from J San and they’ve never disappointed me.Price is reasonable and the quality is good.

Best chirashi (the deluxe chirashi) in downtown for takeout for the price. Typically include Uni (sea urchin), fatty tuna that's close to chutoro, ikura (salmon roe), and hamachi (yellowtail). Other times, it might have botan ebi.However, other parts of the menu might be a little lacking. I wish you had some good sashimi or nigiri sushi boat/tray options (none currently. The only ones are mixtures with rolls).Still takeout only as of time of writing.

So good!! Ordered the deluxe chirashi don and torched sushi & roll combo. Loved the torched sushi and rolls, and the sashimi was super fresh - melt in your mouth tuna, hamachi, and I’m usually not a fan of salmon but the fatty cut was good. Honestly reasonable price for this high quality and portion.The chirashi rice was a bit hard but everything else was great. Would just get the sashimi next time!Sketchy area but great taste and presentation .
