Dr. Oladele Odubote

My only real complaint is that they didn't tell me they moved, so I walked into a random persons home, and sometimes you can be waiting awhile as he deals with cases at the hospital too. Other than that, both him and his secretary have always been great to me

I have been seeing Dr. Odubote for over 6 month and everytime I go I have a 2 hour wait. The receptionist was not wearing a mask and did not enforce wearing a mask for those in the waiting room. Dr Odubote is great but the cons vastly outweigh the pros

I will echo what others have said in that Dr. Obubote is a caring doctor who clearly wants to take the time to understand your needs and work with you but he is obviously overloaded with patients or has a hard time with managing his own time. I know I had a 10AM appointment one day - I was the first one in that morning, and I waited until 1045 until he even arrived in the office. When I go there, I expect to be waiting for an hour, minimum, before I get in. Just be aware of this, but beyond that, I think Dr. Odubote is genuinely a good man who wants to help.

Dr. Odubote genuinely cares about his patients. Like any doctor, he can run late due to shortages, but that’s by no means his fault. He is willing to work with you permitting there’s respect. I honestly have no complaints!

This Gentleman and a Scholar of a psychiatrist is an absolute dream as long as your willing to meet him in the middle and do the work on your end, you will be extremely happy with the results your seeking!He is smart, patient and takes the time to get to know your individuality in order to better understand and acknowledge your goals in seeking the help you do!You have to want to better yourself and not expect miracles, only then will you find peace!Thanks again Dr. Odubote!

TW: Suicidal themesWaited an hour in an empty waiting room with nobody ahead of me, with no updates by the receptionist, only to be told when I eventually got in to the 20 minute session that I couldn't seek treatment for a personality disorder that we both agreed I met all symptoms for, simply because I had not been to the hospital for a suicide attempt

Dr Odubote has been instrumental in diagnosing and treating me so that I have a way better quality of life. It is upsetting to read all of the negative reviews as he truly cares for you as a person. Yes he is overworked and gets called out to the hospital frequently, sometimes backing up appts later, but that just shows how serious he takes his job. What is a few hours when it can change your life? Put yourself in the Doctor’s shoes for a change…he cannot change the shortage of Physchiatrists in town…he tries to see everyone. Be fair people!

I wasted 8 yrs of life with this masoginystic christian man who expressed intolerance the day we met, when he asked how i was and I said I thought it was rude and unprofessional to keep patients waiting over three hours for an appointment. That is a FACT, my time is valuable sir. Then he became emotionally indignant and quite righteous when trying to dismiss me to my GP, which I had just lost to retirement. I did not even call HIM rude, I said, I think it's rude when ppl leave their clients waiting for three hrs"I would recommend that anyone who does not fit into the cultural paradigm of acceptable christian culture paired with masogyny

Not a good doctor and absolutely NO respect for others time. Chronically late is an extreme understatement and why he can't just book his appointments to reflect his lazy disrespectful tardiness is beyond words. I hope you read this doctor and take it SERIOUSLY cause your lack of concern for others time shows as a lack of care for your patients. I wish I could say it to your face, just disgusting. If there were better options in Kamloops, I'd switch in a heartbeat. Again I can't stress enough how DISRESPECTFUL your tardiness is!
