Mountain Woods

Unfortunately I will never play this course again. Not because the course wasn't nice, but because of how my wife and I were treated. The course is a very nice one. Each hole is memorable and has its own character. Lots of elevation changes, good traps and greens. The fairway was rough, but some of the holes are fairly new, and the dry summer has been tough on NB courses. Upon arrival I was told I could not be trusted to take the golf cart to my truck to load my clubs. That's fine if it's your policy, but I don't need to be told I can't be trusted to drive a golf cart. Worse though, after paying for our round we were told we were being paired up with another couple. Again that's fine, but my wife is new to golf and did not want to play with people she doesn't know. We asked if there was a tee time that was available that we could go out alone. The employee told me I should have known we were paired up when I booked online. I said it does not indicate that. He then argued with me that it does (I rechecked to make sure, and when using the Chrono golf app, it does not show how many slots are available at each tee time). He then began slamming things, sighing and muttering under his breath for the next five minutes while trying to refund one tee time. The starter realized and tried to make up for it but it was too little too late. I won't be back.

First Time Golfing In Over 20 Years. I Went With My Father.I'm So Grateful For The Courtesy Shown By The Man Working The Counter. He Is A Real Gentleman And By All Means Should Get A Raise For The Way He Treats People. The Respect And Dignity We Were Given Went Above And Beyond The Norm. If You Read This Man, Thank You. You Have No Idea What You Did For Us So I Will Elaborate A Little.My Brother Passed Away A Few Months Ago, Unexpectedly And Since Then We, As A Family, Have Been Trying To Become Closer With One Another.So This Day, At This Golf Course, Was The Way For My Father And I To Really Connect, And It Was The Best Time I've Had With Him In So Many Years.I Cannot Praise This Place Enough For Making Our Day One That We Won't Forget.Thank You So Much And We Will Be Back Again.

Nice course .. layout is a little odd in spots but otherwise well groomed and the marshals keep things moving smoothly.

Had a great day on the course today. This course has truly come a long way over the years.With the fall colours in full effect the scenery is truly amazing.

The course is in very poor shape. Fairways are dry and full of bare spots. Not worth the green fees. I was a member in the 90 when the course was maintained much better. I was very disappointed with the conditions. No money has gone into maintaining this course. Thus is a $30.00 green fee course not $43.00.

I attended the Ladies Headstart program with Sébastien Tremblay -Pro, it was great! His instructions were clear, he was helpful and provided personal advice to everyone in the group. I know I’ll be golfing in the future, thanks to Sébastien! Ladies! Money well spent!

Hard to get tee time for 4 green fees. We got 710am today only to arrive and place is shut down til 725 carts weren't ready etc. Then we wanted refreshments after 9 nothing open couldnt even buy a water. Greens were good. Course was in decent shape..

Nice course and not too busy. Enjoyable time

Played here for the first time yesterday and Wow what a great course. Loved the layout.! Very challenging for the seasoned player but forward tees are positioned great for the shorter hitters or anyone new to the game. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Practice putting greens are good and nice to see a driving range with real grass (not the mats). Anyone who hasn’t played here should definitely give Mountain Woods a try!

Mountain Woods is my personal preference for golfing in the Moncton Area (for courses that won't completely break the bank). Greens are usually in nice shape and the layout of the course is fun and fairly challenging. If there was one main critique it would be the condition of a few of the fairways (mainly on the front nine I believe).
