Cinderbloc Studio

This is a great studio space! There’s so much to love about Cinderbloc. Firstly, the communcation with the owner has been really prompt and friendly! Secondly, the rates are really reasonable considering the space and vibes. I booked on two seperate occasions to do a video/photo shoot. What really stood out was the amount of space to stretch out. You get a lot of amenities alongside the main space you can outfit for photography. Our guests had plenty of space upstairs to relax and prepare for their turn having their photos taken. As a photographer, I was really thankful for the equipped light stands and there’s plenty of electric outlets for powering all my continuous lights and strobe flashes. There are a lot of windows if you want that natural light vibe - but each also has curtains to block out the sun, if you want more control of the lighting.If you are a creator and need a space to shoot, I highly recommend Cinderbloc. The space will inspire you.

This studio is absolutely gorgeous! 16' floor-to-ceiling southwest facing windows provide the best light of any studio in Victoria. It is super spacious and has a modern, industrial vibe to it. Concrete floors & white walls provide the perfect backdrop to any shoot. Highly recommend!!!

I have used Cinderbloc several times over the last two years for photo shoots. I’ve found the owners to be responsive, and prompt with answers to questions or concerns, and flexible with regards to access to the space, for load in and load out. The space is always clean and ready for my use, and if I rent additional studio equipment, everything is always in excellent working order, and set out for my use.Washroom/changing facilities are always clean and stocked and the mezzanine seating area is great for clients with extra persons, or for kids to hang out during the shoot. A wireless audio system is also available and is easy to use, and reliable.

Toni's space, the Cinderbloc Studio, was the perfect location to host my 30th birthday party. It was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed to host a party. Toni was accommodating and quick with his responses. He was also available for any questions we had throughout the day. We will definitely be booking again!

I recently participated in a photo and video shoot in this beautiful space. It was a wonderful experience! A great spot to host events or for creatives. It is modern yet comfortable, very versatile.

This was my first time booking a studio, with that being said I don’t know how it can get much better than this place. I loved the atheistic of the room I had. Was a great time, hope to work with them again

The studio is great for events, celebrated with friends and family and received many compliments about the venue. Would defiantly recommend it, as the space is clean and very versatile. Toni is very approachable and an amazing host!!

The studio is beautiful, one of the best in the city in my opinion. I’ve rented this dozens of times for a variety of events from social gatherings, to board meetings, to photo and video shoots. It’s stylish and versatile. The booking is easy and the team is super helpful - just ask and they do their best. It’s upstairs so make sure you’re aware of that when booking to make sure you book the right amount of time. Glad we have venues like this in the city! Highly recommend.
