Jane Bond BBQ
Need to make sure all there advertising on website, social media, menus at the restaurant are updated. Food was good but came across many surprises we were not expecting. Were told social media postings were outdated - so put dates in them then. Never been to a restaurant that did not honour advertisements on social media that did not have valid dates in the ads. Even the menus at the restaurant were wrong. Wouldn't go back for that kind of hassle over promos and prices.Also we were told we would get a free mini-jug of burbon tea because their info on the menu was wrong but we did not, we were charged for it. Couldn't see the receipt until we paid and the receipt was then emailed to us. They did give us a free birthday dessert for the birthday girl in our group.

Great food, service & southern retro decor. Will be visiting again. Only downside, the model for doing online choices for food is not intuitive and helpful if we want to ask questions or make modifications to our meal choices. Fortunately the server was very help & took our order using a different terminal.

I went for power hour on a saturday and had a great experience. The brisket was juicy and flavorful and the pulled pig was the best I've had in Calgary: thicker shreds which I like, and unlike hayden block which has a vinegar sauce that can be a bit unpleasant to some, this one was just smoked so that the true flavor of the pork came out. The catfish is incredible and a real favorite. It comes with a large dip that was delicious! I'm a simple woman, if I get a generous sauce to dip with, I'm happy haha! The crawfish was not my favorite, but that's just a personal preference. The Andouille sausages were very good as well. St. Louis ribs were fall off the bone tender.The coconut cornbread was amazing and I don't even like coconut :)The brisket also works well on nachos and buns the next day so I would recommend getting enough for leftovers.This restaurant has you order and pick up at the counter and grab sauces and utensils on your own so it's a more casual setting, but convenient as you can pay for your food and leave whenever.The south location is convenient to access with free parking, and with the power hour earlier at 8-9 it's great for people who want a deal without staying up too late. Definitely give this place a try!

Cool vibe in the restaurant. You're supposed to order online or via a kiosk there which was a little weird. I didn't know that so the server just took my order which was helpful and she was very nice. The pulled pork and the chicken were great. The beef brisket was really good but I like more of a heavy bark on mine. The flavoured BBQ sauce on tap was awesome! Still one of the better ones that I've had in Calgary

We recently had Jane Bond BBQ Cater our Staff party, and WOW!! My staff was so impressed with the feast provided by Jane Bond. not only were they able to accommodate my late catering request, and the dietary needs of my group, the portion sizes of the platters is huge, really something for everyone!!! So responsive, and absolutely wonderful to work with! We will 100% be working with them again in the future, and can't recommend them enough!Thank you to the entire Jane Bond team for their hard work, and DELICIOUS BBQ! :)

Great service! Went there today for some drinks and ended going home with over 7 lbs of meat. I would have given them 5 stars for the service alone before even trying the food.However if I could I would give them more than 5 stars, my picky kids loved it and my BBQ loving hubby said it was amazing! Definitely will be going back again (thank goodness it's a block away from the office!)

My wife and I tried Jane Bond BBQ for the first time for our Valentine's Day date. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the quantity as well! We received a platter with a variety of types of BBQ meat and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The servers were very attentive and personable. We will definitely return and I think we have found our new favourite place for BBQ! Thank you for the great experience - you made our Valentine's date very memorable!

Super friendly service with and awesome atmosphere. But even better is the food. The maple bbq po boy bun was phenomenal, the St. Louis ribs couldn’t have been more perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fall off the bone but still a bite to it. Don’t leave here without the coconut cornbread, with it being sweet, salty, tender and crispy, it is a must have! 5 HUGE stars!
