Roti King
So this busy gem is off Euston Street about 10 mins walk from King's Cross / St Pancras Station. It's basement level with single WC .its in a residential area so they have a clearly marked space for queuing , so pedestrians aren't obstructed outside the restaurant....Yes , there are often queues , but service staff do come out to ask you how many there are in your party .And your seated inside quite quickly.Rules of the house : you get 1 chance to order everything you need .. please see photos for other rules ..Food is amazing.Dhal roti and char kuey teow are excellent, did order extra bread with the dhal .. 1 bread isn't enough .Ayam chicken is good to share.Kari laksa was also good .So , if you want a cheap , tasty Malaysia meal , and aren't bothered about silver service, this is highly recommended..Service is efficient, staff are polite.. felt very welcome ..No alcohol served. But good selection of non alcoholic drinks .

Authentic Malaysian food, Asian spicy. Spinach and cheese Murtabark is so delicious. Roti made well too. Laksa is very tasty. Some portion is not as big as in their website. It’s a very busy place that we are only allowed to order once. The queue is extremely long as they don’t take reservations, we waited for about 40 mins from 6pm on sat, I can see two people wait shorter like 25 mins, the queue gets super long after 630pm. They will offer you a seat only if all people arrive, so better ask your friends be on time. Recommended if you look for a real Malaysian food in London.

Famous place with queues outside, people can't wait to get in for the incredible Malaysian dishes. Recommend this if anyone is looking for authentic Malaysian food. I've heard Roti King is known for offering nice Malaysian food, and they certainly didn't disappoint. The food is brilliant and absolutely worth a visit, even though very often, would have to wait for a while before taking the stairs down and entering the restaurant. You would be amazed how delicious the dishes would taste. We come all the way from Manchester, and it is worth waiting for.

This brought me back to my first moments in Singapore, fighting jetlag with street food at midnight. If a restaurant can evoke such memories, then it's also worth the 45 minute queue and the 5 stars.Dare I say it, but the Nasi Lemak was the best I've had, as were the rotis themselves.Don't be put off by its basement location and awful signage that makes it look like a struggling kebab shop. This restaurant is a gem and deserves all the buzz.

Roti King is a small diner located near Euston Station, the menu is well priced and affordable compared to many places around the area. Food tastes fresh and quite hygienic - obvious by the way we are able to see them cooking. Waiters are friendly and calm despite how busy it is! Be sure to arrive early as soon as its opened or you would have to wait in queue. Delicious Malaysian Food!

A true gem!Everything I’ve tried here has been amazing.Chicken, Prawn chilli noodles 10/10Reasonably priced, £20 per person with big starters, mains and drinks.Quite a small space - no reservations - you won’t be seated till the whole party has arrived. Understandable when you see the queue outside the place!

Pretty good Malaysian food. Some of the dishes were a little salty but overall good. I would recommend coming early right before they open since there were people lining up to get in. When we left there was still a line of people waiting to get in. Food comes out pretty fast. The dishes are small so you can order a few dishes to try.

Had been waiting to try this for a while, arrived before opening time and there was already a queue. It moves fast so don't be put off, but it is a quick in and out service, we were in and out within 40 minutes and we were there longer than most. They have tried to make the most of the space, but not much room for bags/coats! Food was good and more filling than we thought. Would recommend the noodle/rice dishes.

Delicious Malaysian Food. Portions and prices both reasonable. Best nasi goreng I’ve had in London.Would recommend going in person as food is best fresh.Often there’s a queue but worth the wait!

Classic hole in the wall type of restaurant with a limited menu where the food speaks for itself. You looking at Malaysian cuisine with a focus on Roti (obviously) and you only get one chance to order. This is good because it keeps the tables rotating at a good pace, which is handy because you can’t book and have to queue outside. We only waited 10 min though so not that bad.
