LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

Fair. Usually when you go in here everything is fairly efficient but, now things are messed up. NO local numbers, I can't find out if I still have an outstanding lab order without sitting on hold at some 800 number. More fees for everything now too.

I had an appointment with an immigration doctor who told me that I now have to go to this specific branch of LifeLabs and tell them where I came from. He added that I didn't need an appointment and that I'd be helped just by showing this paper. He then gave me a card that says No appointment needed".I was met by an employee who I told what the doctor told me

My granddaughter went last week for blood work. Her arm is still bruised and it hurts when she moves it. She has had blood work done in the past and it hasn't bothered her. She said when the blood was being drawn, she could feel the needle being moved around by the phlebotomist. She won't be returning to this lab.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this experience was, the receptionist was kind and efficient & they got me in pretty quickly after sitting down. I let the woman who was taking my blood know that I don't do well with needles, and she made me feel a lot more comfortable and spoke to me the whole time to get through it! Definitely would recommend this location

Appt for 10am on a Wednesday, arrived at 9:45, was checked in and had blood work done. The nurse was great, it was quick and I barely felt it. I was out the door by 10am.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Booked an appointment and was already in the area and walked in to see if they can accomondate a early walk-in. Supposedly it was a 20 minute wait but I was able to get in early and was out quickly. It's nice they have a few locations to accomondate people's need depending on which location is closest and convenient for them. Thanks for being awesome and keep up the hard work. Cheers.

I made an appointment online with no problem. Showed up at my scheduled appointment time, went right in...no wait. Was finished and out in less than 15 min. Staff were very polite. Eeezy-Peezy!!!

I have noted in my visits that the staff here is prejudiced as it is far too obvious that despite the appointment system, the local people are given priority and the ones that look like non-Canadians, are made to wait a bit more.Please don’t make it too obvious. We understand we are all human and have those weaknesses.Normally most Canadians are very welcoming to foreigners but this place seems to be an outlier.The head of this service may want to arrange an equality and fairness training for the staff.Also please note that Canadians are lovely people and my comment should not be misconstrued as calling them racist or anything. It is just an observation and I feel that it will help the management to know that this has been my perception. I might be wrong and I hope I am and seriously hope that next time I visit, I will have a different experience.Prejudice and racism are harmful and damaging to the very people who practice it.

Very efficient, friendly staff, and clear guidelines on how the appointments work during covid times. I had my appointment at 8:50 am and was already finished and out the door by 9:02 am. Will definitely be using this place again in the future.
