Mantha Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Received a quote from Samuel March 15, I wrote back April 3rd to go ahead. April 4, I sent ser # and general info as requested. I’ve called twice since and another email and nothing.It appears they don’t want new business.

OMG what is going on with Mantha! People are cancelling, not renewing and many are p..off. Unless they start returning my calls and stop putting people on hold for 1/2 hour or more.. its time to move on to a company rated better than 3 stars....Rest assured, its not only rates people should be concerned!

Rates were good so we signed up. However the customer service has been horrible. I dreaded having to call with an inquiry, because the majority of the representatives were so miserable to deal with. Then we dealt with Bruce who is a huge asset to the company. Very approachable and friendly but unfortunately we can only deal with him for .the motorcycle part of our policy

After being with Mantha for years, I am leaving them as they have become completely unresponsive to customers. I have sold my motorcycles and need to cancel my policy until the new bikes arrive. I called the office 3 days ago to action the cancellation, was directed to voice mail and the call was not returned. I called again 2 days ago, again voicemail and the call was not returned. I called again today and guess what? Voicemail again and still no call back.I will eventually cancel the policy and the new bikes will definitely not get insured by this brokerage. Terrible customer service when you can't get three calls returned over a 4 day period. Glad I didn't actually have to make a claim.

Horrible Company!!!Father had home insurred with them for 30-40+ years.Went to retirement home, after heart attack. Home became vacant.Called Mantha to inform and jump through many hoops to get insurance for a vacant home. Expected a new policy, did not arrive. Confusion about old policy and cancelling. Mantha/Aviva cancelled insurance without calling. Once confusion was understood they would not reinstate the policy! Probably part of their plan. They have collected enough money for this home with never a claim over 40 years. Mantha said they would call back with options each times after me calling several attempts, they never got back to me.SHAME on all of you. We need to rethink insurance structure - universal insurance or collective insurance of sorts perhaps. These companies now have too much demand. Anyway.. off my lists. Cant imaging actually attempting to claim anything from them!

Existing customer looking for a change in tenant insurance. My email to my insurance representative went unanswered. Called and left a message and received a call back the next day. After providing details, I was to be transferred to another live available representative. I had to leave a voicemail message, and received no call back. Filled out a web quote request. two more days passed without an email or phone call. Started the process again. The phone was not answered, so I camped on the line for 10 minutes before a receptionist answered. This time I was quickly transferred to a mailbox instead of a live person even after assurances that this would not happen. A week passed and the only progress made has been an increase in my blood pressure.

With Mantha for 5 years, properties and auto insurance through them - good rates. Informed them 2 years ago of personal changes, they made the change. Am called the day before my policy renews telling me that they made a mistake in 2020 and they can't insure me unless I insure another property with them. Offer me a premium double what I'm currently paying. If I don't accept, they will cancel my insurance which renews today (in their defense they allowed me a few days). Found better, cheaper insurance elsewhere (so thanks I guess?).Just strange that they were completely unwilling to work with me to retain my business after five years claim-free. Felt like they tried to back me into a corner and threaten me with if you don't accept this new policy at double what you're currently paying we'll just cancel your other policies".Nice staff though I guess. Receptionist could be a lot nicer...Hesitating between 2 or 3 stars. Went with 3 since they were good for five years. TD bailed me out though AND beat their premium just to help me out of this jam..."

You could try phoning them they never get back to you and if they do they are rude and never solve the problem.

I recently moved from Brampton to grey county. Though my truck insurance went down my bike insurance went up. They're claiming I have move places to ride now but still capped at 5000km per year.Then they had me listed in waterloo county (that got fixed)But still have my bike listed as a police bike wich ot has never been

Mantha was good. Now with the change in ownership I will be looking elsewhere next year. They didn't return my phone call or email for over three days! Frustrating! Can you imagine if it was a claim?
