Dr.huang as our family dentist for many years. She is super professional to treat my teeth .She is always patient to explain to me what caused the issue and how to fix it in the best way. Right now I got perfect smile. Her staffs are very polite and caring too.

I'm not really one to write reviews but I wanted to share about my experience because I was very happy with the service I was provided. I've had the same dentist pretty much all my life, but they are not located in this region. I'm usually very hesitant to switch providers because I like to stay with one person. Unfortunately, a couple weeks ago, my permanent bottom retainer snapped on me. I was desperate for an orthodontist to fix the situation because I had a flight that week.I was very lucky when I found University Avenue Dental. The office staff was great- they took the time to answer my concerns and questions about the costs because I am a university student. I wanted to make sure I could afford the appointment before going in. They saw me right away, and Dr. Huang recognized the issues with my teeth and gums right away. They made the time to get me the right care, making sure that my bottom retainer was first sorted with the dental hygienist. I have a gag reflex which makes it difficult to do dental work at times, but the entire staff was made aware and was very patient to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. Because of my timeline, they made sure I was seen the next day to get everything fixed before my flight. Dr. Huang also took the time to identify areas of concerns on my teeth and gums, and had the dental assistant sit down and explain each area in more detail. At the end, the office staff also made the billing very easy, with good explanations about the studentcare plans that the universities offer- which was greatly appreciated because navigating the system is quite complex. I also received a text at the end reminding me about the areas I need to work on, and a video with brushing tips.This type of care makes me really happy because I am a bit of a public health nerd. I work in the area of health literacy, so when I see patient education in practice, it makes me really excited. I love the care that was taken into improving my dental literacy by all members of this office. It really made a difference to my week and I am very happy to say my bottom retainer is fixed, with no issues!

This is a highly risky place. I would not recommend any of my friends to go to this clinic. It was my big mistake to have trusted them for 3.5 years.Indeed, they can get some simple work done and they are very hospitable if no incident happens.In fact, some of the customers may still be very satisfied with their services by far. But if an incident happens to you, you should expect to get the rude responses the same as I got and the only way you can have your rights protected is through a lawsuit. Their bad attitude and lack of ethics can become your nightmare.I would like to also remind each of my friends:1. Always keep sufficient evidence while doing your dental work, take a picture of your teeth before and after any surgery.2. Raise your concern to RCDSO and ask for an investigation immediately if you find any issue from the dental work.If you are interested, here is what have happened to me:1. Dr. Huang performed a wisdom tooth extraction surgery on me. But after the surgery, I found that one adjacent tooth was damaged. I requested the clinic to do an investigation on this issue to have the truth figured out. I always talk to them politely. However, Dr. Huang got very emotional during the conversation and responded to me very rudely. “Go sue me” ”Don’t waste my time”. The clinic manager was also very rude. He showed no sympathy and kept making excuses regardless of how I felt.2. Their teeth filling technique is terrible. One of my teeth has been filled twice by Dr. Huang within one year. The first filling fell off a resin piece within a month and cracked within 10 months. Then I asked them to fill it again and it fell off a resin piece again in less than a week. I had to request them to adjust it again and it wasted a lot of my time. What was worse, the tooth became more sensitive than it was before the second fill. However, Dr. Huang refused to admit any of their quality issues, kept making excuses and refused to cover the second fill with warranty.I understand and accept that no dentist can 100%ly avoid incidents. It’s just a probability for something to happen. When incidents happen, a dentist honestly admits his/her faults and deals with incidents with a good attitude could just earn more of my trust. Instead of blaming him/her, I would like to continue receiving services from an honest dentist.But Dr. Huang is a dentist who chooses to respond to customer issues with the rudest attitude and admit none of her faults. Her wrong attitude and lack of ethics will just make patients’ risk unbounded even if the worst case may not happen in a short term.Teeth damage can be irreversible. With so many good-rating dental clinics out there, there is no reason to risk your health with this one._________________________________2023/03/01 After I shared my review, the clinic sent some messages to me today to threaten me and asked me to remove my review. I told them NO, I AM JUST TELLING THE TRUTH. What a funny and low clinic.......Wondering how many customers have been threatened by them.

It was a smooth process. All the staff had been very helpful and were supportive.Looking to return next time for my scheduled cleaning. In the meantime I highly recommend this establishment to any fellow students in the proximity. 5 stars. xoxo

I recently visited this dental clinic and was blown away by their exceptional service. From the moment I stepped in, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The dentist was not only highly skilled but also had a warm and caring demeanor. I highly recommend this clinic for their excellent service and outstanding dentist.

I have visited this clinic twice for dental cleaning. Firstly, despite of repeatedly explaining that I only require regular dental cleaning, they asked me many times to go for an X-ray for which I also signed a refusal form.Secondly, they performed additional polishing after the cleaning without prior information saying it is just to take out remaining deposit.I will stop visiting this clinic because I don’t want to harm my teeth because of unawareness.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Huang at University Dental. Dr. Huang’s professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. She took the time to explain each procedure throughly and answered all my questions patiently. The staff at the clinic were friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Dr. Huang’s expertise, my dental issues were addressed effectively, and I’m extremely happy with the results. Despite my dental anxiety, Dr. Huang’s gentle approach and reassurance made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate her understanding and patience. I highly recommend Dr. Huang and her University Dental Clinic to anyone in need of professional and compassionate dental care. My experience there exceeded my expectations in every way.

Worst dental ever‼️You should never visit this dental‼️Firstly, I arrived on time for my appointment but was made to wait for over 30 minutes before being seen by the dentist. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, I believe that such a delay is unacceptable and causes unnecessary inconvenience for your patients. Furthermore, I discovered that an additional charge had been made to my bill without my knowledge or consent. It appeared that this charge had been added in the hope that I wouldn't bother to check my health insurance information. However, upon reviewing my medical insurance information, I found that there was an overcharge, and when I questioned the dental practice about it, the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction. As a patient, I believe that it is unacceptable to be charged for services that I did not receive, and that any discrepancies in billing should be addressed and resolved promptly.Additionally, I found that having my teeth cleaned at your practice was an unpleasant experience. It was painful and uncomfortable, and I was not offered any explanation or advice on how to make the experience less painful. As a result, I will never visit this dental.

I visited this clinic for a teeth cleaning procedure because I was in the area, and the experience was great.The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to every patient's needs. The receptionist was also very friendly and chatty, taking the time to ask me about my bag keychain. Afterwards, my hygienist also took the time to explain the teeth cleaning process to me, answering all my questions with patience and clarity.The cleanliness and organization of the clinic were good. The waiting area was comfortable, and I didn't have to wait long before being called in for my appointment.Scheduling the appointment was also pretty comfortable. The administrative staff was efficient, courteous, and made the whole process stress-free. They were accommodating with my schedule and ensured I had all the information I needed before and after my visit.I will make sure I return for future dental needs if I find myself in the area.
