Wes and the guys at TradeCraft Heating and Cooling were super. The team was courteous, professional and completed the job on time and within the budget we had discussed. The job was to run a gas line and install a pool heater... we're up, running and enjoying our warm pool. I highly recommend!

I contacted upwards of 10 different companies when searching for a heat pump installer. They all ran the gambit of either a handwritten non specific quote, or a quote that didn't match what I asked for, or even not submitting a quote at all. I listened to each of the companies to try to gain an understanding of what they were proposing.Tradecraft was the only company that did not just quote what they wanted. We discussed at length what we were looking to achieve, what units were available, and how our existing system would fit into the mix.We were thrilled with the plan that Wes came up with. While it may have been a little bit more than we wanted to spend, the system that was designed will fit our needs for many many years to come.All of the processes within the control of Tradecraft were done in a timely manner, and very professionally.Our house is 100 years old, and Tradecraft and their staff understood that we were concerned with tampering too much with the house. Their design took that into consideration, and they built a fabulous system. When I came home, and changed the plan a bit, they were happy to accommodate without any hassle or push back.Tradecraft's staff from the owner to installers were all top notch professionals. They do things right, without shortcuts, and within the timeframe we agreed upon.Anyone looking for a heat pump system should talk with Tradecraft and get a quote. My experience was a lot better than I had expected, and I would not hesitate to recommend Tradecraft to anyone. Truly impressed with our results. We have drastically reduced our use of 'dinosaur blood' in house, and have air conditioning too.

Furnace died on the weekend (40 year old grimsby).Wes was here to quote Monday. Mark,Dimitri and Zack were here Thursday to install new Trane system. Job well done under 5 hrs. Working in the building supply business for over 10 years Tradecraft Mechanical is by far the most professional HVAC business contractor I've had the pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very responsive, had someone one come to my home and diagnose within 4 hours. Ordered the part and installed it professionally within a week (older furnace). Chris was very knowledgeable, friendly and was able to repair my HVAC motor.

Our regular HVAC company didn't answer their 24 hour emergency service when our furnace stopped working on Christmas Eve. Called TradeCraft Heating and Cooling. Wes returned our call in 10 minutes and diagnosed our issue over the phone in about 5 minutes. We aren't even a customer and he took the time to help us. Thank you so much Wes! We will definitely be calling you in the future for our HVAC needs.

My heater stopped working over the Christmas holidays. Wes was still able to send a technician out within a few hours. Chris quickly installed a part so that I would have heat until the new year, when a new furnace could be installed. I was offered a good price and ended up getting a new a/c unit installed at the same time.They were very accommodating with scheduling the install, even arriving early in the morning so I would not be late for work. The technicians that attended were prompt and courteous and they answered all of my questions.Overall I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend this company.Thanks again guys!Jennifer

I wanted to add my voice to the other positive reviews already posted.I needed immediate service to disconnect a gas stove as I was having an induction stove delivered the same day. I thought i could simply disconnect the gas line myself but the nut had been over-torqued by the company that connected it originally. Note: I called the company who installed the line and they said they don’t do that work anymore. I am not surprised.I called Tradecraft and, unlike many other businesses these days, the owner picked up. Nice.I outlined my predicament and he said he could send a couple of guys by within the hour. Sure enough, two friendly guys showed and had it replaced in 10 minutes. The one guy had been with Tradecraft for 5+ years and said he likes working for such a great company. To my mind it is great company.Too many businesses have lost the art of good customer response and quality workmanship. With Tradecraft, you get fast friendly service and quality work. They capped my line, sniffed to make sure there were no leaks and cleaned up the area.For any heating or cooling issues (or stuck gas lines) you should call Tradecraft. We used TradeCraft to install air conditioning in the mid century bungalow we recently purchased. We were impressed by the professionalism and skill level of the crew so had them install our new furnace, an on demand water heater and all new ductwork. In the process, we also got gas lines for a barbecue and fireplace installed. The manifold they created for the gas lines is a work of art! The crew was here for almost two weeks and every guy seemed to really enjoy their work. They were friendly and never complained about working late to make sure we had hot water or a working furnace overnight. Highly recommend this company for all your HVAC work.
