We stopped to fuel up at the Esso and met the most adorable kitten, saddly she seems to have been abandoned, the staff did not recognize her and said she had been hanging around for over 2 days.We couldnt just leave her there.The staff were very helpful in supplying various pet supplies, old news papers,a few bags/cardboard boxes, some water, a bowl, food, etc etc. Everybody pitched in a little, and now, Mercy, as we have named her,is happily on her way to alberta!
