NEW shop. Lots of money spent on the building.Not a comfortable place to shop though. the older lady follows you around, constantly talking to you about EVERYTHING you look at, or touch, trying to pressure you into buying something. Very Very uncomfortable!! I've talked to a few other quilters about this; they say the same thing.I had a shopping list when i went in, but left without buying anything, because of her behaviour!!

Modern quilting course was a great experience, Ann was methodical in teaching the group. Enjoyed her personal touch and will be back for more classes. The studio is a stimulating learning environment. Thank you Ann and Kate.

Overpriced and overcharged. I booked a day of computer long arm quilting. The quality was ok, yet the machine needed servicing and had several thread brakes near the end.My own batting was loaded wrong (to speed up the process) and I ended up needing to buy extra batting from Kate's open quilt studio in order to finish the job. No apology. No offer to make up. Just a nearly $300. Sad but true

Recently discovered Kate's Open Quilt Studio at a craft show. The staff were so friendly and encouraging that I decided to visit the store in person. I walked into the store and was instantly greeted by gorgeous fabrics that are perfectly curated, tons of notions...and then there is the sewing machines!!I always enter quilt stores and can't say that I aways feel welcomed as a male quilter...I feel like I finally found my quilt shop! If I could give more star I would...you must check out this place.

Kate and her staff are awesome. Visiting her store is a ton of fun. And Kate is awesome at helping to put the right colour scheme together. I also enjoy taking classes either online or at the shop. Ann is a fabulous teacher.
