Calmar Orthopaedics

This is the most unprofessional clinic I have ever been to in my life. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of customer service. They have continuously shown they are incompetent at performing their jobs as I had an appointment scheduled for 11 a.m and was there on time, only to be there waiting for 30 minutes until I was informed the clinician was not even there! Furthermore, instead of the receptionist apologizing for this she said people always wait... I wait 2 hours to see my family physician". I disapprove of this place

Calmar Orthopaedics' INCOMPETENCE caused me 5 years of excruciating right knee pain including increased analgesics, at least 72 unnecessary physiotherapy appointments and MISSING some IMPORTANT events in my life. Also, being told to throw out custom made shoes because staff were apparently too LAZY to modify them!Last October, I took my orthopaedic winter boots to Bobby Bik at Fairview Mall Moneysworth Best Shoe Repair to be winterized.After Bobby asked about the modifications, he removed the unnecessary height, corrected the modifications and after wearing the winter boots for 1 hour - the right knee pain was GONE - I slept for the FIRST night in 5 years without using an ice pack or heat or added analgesic for the pain during the night.NO apology, NO compensation when I complained to the College of Pedorthics.Calmar Orthopaedics is EXPENSIVE and INCOMPETENT - NOT following a doctor's prescription for modifications. People be ware!

After going to many foot clinics and being totally disappointed, I finally found Calmar. I have been going to Calmar for more then ten years now.I can’t say enough good things about Minaz. I’m very glad I found him through the recommendation of my family doctor. He is an excellent chiropodist .I can say he does his job with utmost care for the well being of his patients.I am also pleased with the treatment I am receiving from Dr Lipson.Sometimes I have to wait a little longer in the waiting room for my turn. but it’s worth it, knowing that You won’t be rushed out with subpar service.

I am attending calmar since 2016. All staff is very professional. Mr. Minaz is very professional, intelligent and nice person. Michael is very expert to his work. Dr. Lipson is a noble personality.

I had my orthodics at this place and after I paid they are consistently late with many excuses. Minaz is kind and patient when you get into see him, I needed a few Orthotics adjustments and after my last visit I was told that I am wearing the wrong shoe which they sold me.I received a knee brace the day before they moved, stocking was missing and any instructions, i was told they will be in scarborough and opening in 2 werks which was false.They refuse to see me for a ajustment fitting since for me knee brace.I made Many calls and the 2 times Idid get through I got promises from his wife but nothing to date.I can go on and on. I must sayThis is the most callous, unprofessional and disrespectful bunch I had ever dealt with.I had seen Dr. Lipson there and he's an awesome and empathetic professional and was my primary reason to continue.

I have attended CALMAR othopaedics for many years and have always been well and professionally treated both for prosthetics and orthotics. All of a sudden they closed down with no confact to this day. The “mailbox is fullmessage Is the only response with is totally unacceptable. Not a word from any departmentand I have been a good and valuable customer for over 30 years. Very strange they would do such a thing.SincerelyPaul Stapells

I had custom made orthotics for my plantars faciatis 2 times once by a doctor and once by a physiotherapist. Both times they did not cure my pain. When I saw Calmar on a recommendation from my mother who’s heel spur pain had gone away as a result of wearing these orthotics the physician said my case of plantars faciatis was the second worse he’s ever seen. By making me custom made orthotics and a boot like supprort you sleep with on your feet to heal my injury has finally healed and I returned to playing soccer pain free. Since then I get a new pair of orthotics yearly from them which cured lower back pain I get from my work boots. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating and I have recommended this place to friends and co workers.
