St Paul hotel
Luxury modern hotel in old montreal. Huge rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is family friendly, I spent some nights with my husband and my young kids and we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast is very good and valet parking helps a lot. You can walk and find thousands of restaurants and things to do around

The St. Paul Hotel in Montreal is a true gem in the heart of Old Montreal. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the location is unbeatable. The highlight is the outstanding restaurant, Hambar. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city.

We stayed at the St Paul hotel for 3 nights during the long weekend and had a wonderful experience. Their front desk clerks are very friendly and attentive. Rooms are cute, clean and have very comfy beds. There was a complimentary Nespresso machine w multiple pods in our room which was a plus! Their lobby bar is also a must visit; I asked the bartender to crate sth with passionfruit and he came up with a nice cocktail which wasn’t on the menu. Overall amazing experience!

This is the PERFECT hotel to stay in for a getaway the in heart of Old Montreal. It is a gorgeous building and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in (the warmest welcoming lobby with a fireplace and classy furniture). The front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful, and made the experience of staying at St Paul Hotel even more enjoyable by going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From the start the check-in was done extremely fast and they were more than happy to give us a list of recommendations to explore the city. The rooms were exceptional! Spotless, high-ceiling and with canopy beds. It really made our trip the best experience and would 100% recommend if you are looking to stay in Montreal.

Great location…that’s it. Paid $500 for a suite which was smaller than a Marriott executive king room. Booked 7 days and checked out after 2 and went to the W.Bathrooms small are not ADA friendly…neither is the entrance…no ramp or lift to access the hotel for disabled guests and no valet in sight to help guests with luggage.Breakfast is simple and precooked. Lattes $8 extra. For $50 a complete ripoff. The hotel WiFi is slow and cannot connect to VPNs. Called the front desk which was completely no help. It’s an old building with tired rooms that wants to be so much more, but is not. I’m shocked this is a Marriott property as it does not live up to Marriott standards.

We chose this hotel for our wedding night and got a regular room. To our surprise, we got upgraded for free to a suite on the 10the floor, were offered a late check-out, and had a nice letter from the hotel staff waiting in the room. We loved the service, room and location sooo much thay we decided to stay an extra night. Huge thank you to the hotel staff and especially to IBRAHIM at the reception who did everything he could to make our stay a memorable one!

I recently stayed at the Hotel St Paul in Old Montreal. My experience surpassed my expectations. The St Paul truly is a design hotel, from the gorgeous lobby, to the hallways and the rooms. Every aspect had been thoroughly thought out. I was also able to have a cocktail at the bar @Pol. I asked the bartender to surprise me with a cocktail and I was not disappointed, with just a few questions he made me a delicious drink. Looking forward to coming back to the Hotel and the bar!

We spent a night at Hotel St. Paul recently. It's the hotel that was chosen for us by Hotwire. We were suitable impressed. The hotel was very conveniently located for our purposes, a night in the Old Port area. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We opted for valet parking ($40) as finding parking otherwise would have been very difficult. We walked everywhere we went so we didn't need our car until check-out.The room we had was quite spacious and well appointed with a king sized bed. True of a boutique hotel, the furnishings were sparse but the two chairs (not the one at the desk) were quite comfortable. The view we had was of the Old Port area. It was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable but a couple of firm, yet soft, pillows would have been a welcome touch. The lobby was spacious and quite inviting. We didn't partake in breakfast before we left as we found the prices a bit steep.Check out was painless as was retrieving our car from valet parking. They brought the car right to the front door. We were on our way out of town (onto the Ville Marie Expressway) within minutes of check-out.As a suggestion, I would recommend that they increase the lighting in the elevators and the hallways on each floor. The low light in the elevators made it difficult for these old eyes to make out the dimly lit red numbers numbers on the buttons. Similarly, I found it a challenge to read the silver room numbers on the white doors to the rooms because of the dim, purple / mauve lighting in the hallways. In no way were these inconveniences deal breakers. We both said we'd stay the Hotel St. Paul again. Hotel St. Paul and staff earned this five star rating.
