Black Eleven is the best! I've seen Sarah Gal here a couple of times now and have been so impressed with the quality of the work and the atmosphere of the shop. After 5 years in Halifax I finally have a go-to" artist and shop that I want to patron again and again! Sarah is so wonderful to work with and takes so much care in both her artwork and in the way she works with people. Cannot recommend highly enough

Sarah Gal at Black Eleven Tattoo is THE BEST!! She delivered the most sincere and pleasant tattoo experience I've ever had! Sarah's artwork is incredible and they are highly committed to having their clients leave beyond happy with their new tattoo. Sarah created a custom piece for me based on their work and was super sweet about making adjustments and open to new ideas! I will definitely be back for more! Black Eleven Tattoo was excellent vibes all around!!

I’ve been thinking up this piece for over a year and as soon as I found Jill on Instagram I knew I wanted them to do it. Jill and all her staff and her co-op student were so friendly, chill and accommodating. They really made me feel super comfortable. Jill sent me the design the night before and allowed me to comment on anything I may want altered, which is a unique experience I’ve never had with another artist. It takes away having to think and explain your idea on the spot. They made the exact changes that I requested and the piece ended up coming out better than I could have imagined! Will absolutely be getting more pieces by Jill!

I had a great experience with Jill at Black Eleven Tattoo. This was my first tattoo, and so I definitely had some nerves going into it. Jill was so patient and worked with me to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted. Her attention to detail made me feel very confident that I would love the end result...and I do! The shop itself was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Jill for anyone looking to get a tattoo!

Jill is my go-to tattoo artist for both flash pieces and custom work, so I was ecstatic when she announced she would be opening her own shop. Jill's work speaks for itself, but the environment she has fostered in Black Eleven is unparalleled and difficult to come by elsewhere. The space is clean, welcoming, and Jill does an amazing job to foster a non-judgmental and comfortable experience for her clients. I cannot recommend her work as well as this space enough.

I’m obsessed with Black Eleven! Jill is absolutely incredible and makes the entire process so easy and stress free. I get constant compliments on her work and I couldn’t be happier with it. She always perfectly captures my vision and is so committed to every detail. The studio itself is lovely - super clean and organized, very fresh and bright! The other two artists have always been friendly and welcoming when I’ve been there and seem incredibly supportive of each other. I will forever recommend this shop and Jill to everyone I meet.

I was lucky to snag a spot with Jillian. I had a wonderful experience - she was super easy to talk to and the studio had a relaxed, welcoming vibe with comforting feminine energy (yay for female owned businesses!). Jill worked quickly and I found the tattoo pretty painless as her lines are so delicate. It healed quickly, likely as a result of said fine lines. Highly recommend Black Eleven!

I don’t know if I can add anything that hasn’t already been said in the reviews, but I echo pretty much all of it! Jill is an amazing artist and even better person. I highly recommend her and Black Eleven! I currently have two tattoos by Jill that I absolutely LOVE and can’t wait to get more!

I had an amazing experience at Black Eleven Tattoo. The shop is extremely clean, with beautiful plants placed all around, and lovely staff.I’ve gotten two 4 tattoos from Jillian already, and plan to get many more. She’s extremely professional at what she does; very communicative, accommodating and skillful. Her attention to detail is impeccable and her designs always come out beautifully.If you’re looking for the perfect fine-line tattoo artist, Jillian is your gal.

My experience at Black Eleven was 10/10 from start to finish. Jill created a design that exceeded my expectations, she completely captured my idea. Jill was open to small changes I had in mind and quickly fulfilled them. Tattoo placement/sizing can sometimes feel pressured/rushed- but not at Black Eleven. Jill took a tremendous amount of time to make sure I was completely happy with my tattoo placement, which I really appreciated. The space was clean, comfortable, and good vibes! I am in love with the design and quality of my tattoos from Jill, and I will definitely be seeing her for all of my future tattoo needs! Artists who can do nice thin line work are hard to find!
