The owner, Dan, is great.They design and manufacture their own equipment.I purchased a beautiful power rack that Dan graciously customized it my specs which made the rack more functional for my usage.I recommend checking them out.

You’ll never get your product even months later.Banner says minimum 4 weeks for items, sure, I get that, it's a hectic time. But I ordered an item that was IN STOCK 3 and a half months ago. Called 3 weeks ago and was told I could get a refund once the item arrived as they're made to order apparently (this made no sense since if the item arrives obviously I'd like my $750 purchase). But sure, I decided to be a bit more patient and gave it another 3 weeks. Dozens of phone calls later and still nothing.I ordered my item when the gyms started closing and now that gyms are re-opening I STILL haven't received anything.Can't even get across to someone to speak to.Extremely unhappy, and honestly going on 4 months is more patience than I think anyone would find reasonable.(Update: $750 bar never shipped or anything months later, even over a year later, nobody contacted me or anything.)

Went in to pick up a weight belt. They have quite a large selection.They also have a ton of other fitness equipment there, including many full size racks, barbells, and accoutrements.I tried on many different belts; leather and synthetic. In the end I settled on a super comfortable and light weight synthetic one.The clerk was very helpful.I would recommend this store.

Ordered 2 days ago and already got my order of 6x45lbs plates in this covid times. Quite impressed with how fast it was. The price of the plates were pretty good. Shipping was on the higher side but it was kinda expected for something that heavy. Would sure buy again!

I placed an order almost 2 years ago now, and had similar issues as most people here have. I ordered a rack and a bench from XTC and it was a pre-order so I knew it would be delayed, but it was almost an entire year before getting them. Working in a field that is affected by steel supply myself, I know it is not completely XTCs fault, though communication could definitely be improved upon. I also ordered a York G2 plate set and was able to pickup same day as it was in stock.I waited this long to review so that I could test the products fully before posting anything. I can tell you that this rack is the most robust and well built rack for the price. Rogue monster lite attachments also fit on it, so you can see I have a dip attachment, extra cups, and front spotters from rogue. The incline bench is a tank of a bench as well, but the only thing it's missing is the ability for a minor decline. Even one notch of decline on this thing would make it a perfect bench.Also, these guys were working hard through the pandemic to get equipment out the door. I saw it first hand during my multiple trips there for pick ups. Treating people like human beings and having some respect goes a long way sometimes.Tldr: Upset with the delay at first, but after over a year of use, I'm thoroughly happy with the products (rack, incline bench, G2 weight set).

Finally received my gear yesterday. Ordered back on 24-Mar (last day of all retail [non-essential] in province) Very happy with what i ordered (barbell & plate set + land mine) Excellent build & finish quality on land mine adapter. People really should give these guys a break, they are working very hard to meet demand. My guess is demand is unprecedented. Read their website for updates and try calling only if absolutely necessary. I was able to reach them. Will definitely buy from them again. Itldo M.

I purchased some knee sleeves recently and unfortunately they didn't fit which is fine, and decided to exchange those for a bigger size. I paid shipping to return which ok, understandable (Initially it was free shipping upon purchase) and the company said they would automatically exchange the second pair and send those. What they did not tell us is that to receive the package from Fed Ex we had to pay shipping once again. If I had been informed of this upon discussion of exchange, I would have declined exchanging the second pair. Once finding out from my Husband that we had to pay shipping to receive my new size of knee sleeves, I then called to see if they would reimburse the shipping costs to receive the item. I didn't even get that far because who ever answered went on a rant about how the business operates and how much everything costs individually for them as if I should know this. All he had to say was I'm sorry for the miscommunication and is there anything we can do for you that would help? The conversation got extremely tense which I then ended the conversation as he would not stop. We will never purchase or recommend this company to any of our friends or family in the GTA. Going forward I can completely understand it costs a lot to run a business but it also isn't necessary to be-little a customer about how much you have to pay for your business to operate. Thanks for your time.

Went there 10 minutes to close. The person there (I think the owner?) was very helpful. I feel a little guilty for keeping them passed closing but they answered all my questions and I didn't feel like they were trying to get me out the door. Would shop here again.

I bought a bench and floor mats from XTC. Daniel, the owner, was great. He dropped both off at my house and installed the mats wall-to-wall. There was no selling pressure in store, Daniel only wanted to get us the best equipment for us at the cheapest price. Would recommend!

Placed a nearly $800 order for York weights on May 15, and I only got an e-mail confirmation after messaging them on instagram on July 9 about it. Will give them a little bit more time before calling credit card company for a refund and will update if I actually get my orderUpdate: finally picked up weights on October 1, 2020. They also updated their website to show how many items are in stock and was able to order spotter arms for my rack, and picked up the next day. Updating from 1 star to 3 stars, would be 4/5 stars if they actually answered calls and emails.
