Heartland Agency Daycare

I would not recommend this daycare. Stopped by for a quick chat with staff to see if they were accepting new kids and was immediately put off by the unlocked and open door with no one situated at the front area. Literally anyone could walk in off the street and this daycare isn't in the greatest part of the city as it is.I asked a couple questions about current COVID-19 protocols and the lady I was speaking to rolled her eyes and stated there were no more restrictions in place. She then went on to call the whole thing overblown - yikes!Not a place I would trust to take care of my kid.

We took our daughter out of the daycare after they changed all their staff (the new staff did not have a proper transition and no normal daily routine was followed - their service changed dramaticaly).Our biggest concern is we had an issue with the security, as the front door should be monitored all the time or locked if no one is monitoring. However, we have experienced that the door could be unlocked without monitoring. Given that the location of the daycare is at the same building of the drop off centre, we expected them to be extra-cautious, yet the normal safety and security policies were not followed properly.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for looking after my daughter as good as you guys have. My daughter is my world and I would never trust her with just anyone. You guys have gone above and beyond for my daughter Thank you so much tomorrow is her last day and a very sad day for both of us.

It has been awhile since we left this daycare, but our son was there from age 2 until about 5 years old. We loved it there, it had really set the standards for us for following daycares. We enjoyed the care givers, educators and the kids and parents we became friends with. Facility was kept clean and especially during the 1st and 2nd waves of covid. We miss it there but now to kindergarten! All the best!
